Reviews of Star Gate Hotel Kansai Airport

This hotel is incredibly convenient with an excellent location. It's just a few minutes' walk from Rinku Town Station on the Nankai Line, whether you take exit 1 or 3. The lobby for check-in is one floor down. There's a supermarket nearby, which is really handy, and it's also an easy walk to Rinku Premium Outlets, both located on either side of the station. Yesterday, I arrived at 3:30 PM, and they kindly upgraded my room to the 50th floor! The room was huge, and the view from the three windows was absolutely fantastic – perfect for watching Osaka's nightscape. This morning, I woke up at 5:30 AM for my flight and was treated to a stunning sunrise with fiery clouds outside the window. Simply amazing! The room was spacious and very clean. I'll definitely choose this hotel first next time.

Very near to the outlet, just walk around 10 minutes to the outlet nearby. The front desk is good and they are very polite. Also the hotel provides free airport shuttle service in the morning. The view is good.

Check in was fast and front desk staff speaks some English and was helpful. The hotel is easy to find in exit 3 in Rinku Town station within 1 minute walk. It is also very close to Rinku outlet so the hotel is at a good convenient location. However the hotel is a bit old and have much room to improve in terms of overall maintenance. The pillows, beddings and mattress are not that comfortable. The furniture inside the room is old, and the wooden door outside of the fridge is broken without being fixed. The toilet is loud with non consistent auto flushing, and also non consistent temperature of toilet water if cleaning button is pushed (could be hot not warm), and the tap of sink water is hard to control. The hotel is one of the tallest buildings in Rinku town which is easy to spot from far with spectacular view inside the room and at breakfast restaurant level. There are a lot of cabin and flight crew checking out in morning. I will only recommend this hotel if it offers good rates as it does have a lot of room to improve in terms of maintenance and renovation.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just one stop from Kansai Airport, and directly accessible from the JR station. They even offer airport shuttle service. The views from the window are stunning, and breakfast on the 54th floor was a fantastic experience with a wide selection of food and excellent service.

The hotel is really near to airport. We can drop our baggage for early check in. The room is quite big for 4 adults and our baggage. The room is clean too. The hotel provides free airport bus.

Fantastic location! Directly connected to JR/Nankai Rinku Town Station, just a 1-minute walk. It's only one stop (about 5-10 minutes) to the airport. They offer a free, reservation-based airport shuttle, which is great for early morning flights. Rinku Premium Outlets is right next door, making shopping incredibly convenient. • Breathtaking High-Floor Views The 54th-floor rooftop restaurant offers panoramic views of Osaka Bay, the airport runway, and the cross-sea bridge. High-floor (20F+) rooms with sea views provide expansive vistas, perfect for capturing stunning photos of planes taking off/landing and sunsets. • Spacious Rooms The twin and triple rooms are generously sized, well soundproofed, clean, and tidy.

Stay was good. Room was clean and everything is fine. The view from room was exceptional. Worth the price.

This was by far the worst check-in experience ever. I couldn't tell if the duvet had urine or blood stains, and the cover was pure synthetic. The hotel looked good from the outside, but the facilities inside were extremely old and worn. After just one night, both my daughter and I had allergic reactions. We immediately reported it to Ctrip, who took it seriously and handled our after-sales service. Everyone, please, for your own good, avoid this place.

The hotel's exterior is truly stunning, beyond words. As for the interior, you can tell it's a bit dated, but I imagine it was quite impressive in its time. If there's a chance, an update to the interior decor could really restore its former glory.

super great location especially for shopping at rinku! have a shuttle bus that goes to AEON as well.

Location is perfect, close to airport, 12 years old below kids stay for free. Breakfast is good and amazing views
