The Red Roof Inn is recently remodeled, with new staff and owners. This hotel has gone through major improvements with remodeled rooms, new furniture and comfortable beds. It is very clean and well maintained. The outside areas are nicely landscaped, very well lit and secure. A major improvement from earlier days! Highly recommend it since new owner, Bob Patel took over!

I was traveling from Orlando Florida to Hot Springs Arkansas. My parents have stayed at this property in the past and recommended it to me. I am a semi-retired chef with 45 years experience and 21 years with Marriott. I am glad I did stay here. If you could have milk or water available during breakfast that would be great. I plan to stay here on my way back to Florida.

We were driving to Biloxi and got sleepy so we booked this hotel online when we stopped to get gas about 30 min away. Check in was super easy and friendly. The hotel was huge. The room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. The courtyard with the pool was nice, I love a hotel with a courtyard. Not a lot of choices at breakfast the next morning, but it wasn't very busy the night we stayed. Looks like when it's busy they have more. We had a very nice little stay. I was very impressed with how clean it was. I was also impressed with the wide variety of snacks available for purchase behind the front desk.

Very pleased with attention to everything. Larry at the front desk is amazing. He is so helpful and has a great personality. All of the other staff were equally as friendly and helpful. I also want to compliment Demetra (I hope I got her name correct. With travel and several hotels I may have the name wrong. If so, I apologize to her.) She is at the front desk too and is a wonderful, helpful person. Everything about out 2 night stay was good. No problems accommodating our dog.

Hilton Garden Inn Jackson Downtown

I had reservations for two rooms. We got there at 4:00. Check in is at 4:00. The man at the check out said that the rooms weren’t ready. It would be 30-45 minutes. I had my 92 year old mother with me. Finally at 5:45 I went and asked were the rooms ready and they said no and they didn’t know when they would be ready. A one and a half hour wait. I said can we cancel and they said yes. We cancelled and went to the Hilton in Madison. It was like night and day. The front desk was as friendly as she could be. The people T the front desk could have cared less about our wait or us. More or less rude. The downtown Hilton smelled like cabbage when we were in the lobby. Not a great smell. My son went to the Mens restroom and said it was disgusting. There is no excuse for nasty restrooms. There were shady people hanging around the front of the hotel. Don’t even think about staying at he downtown Hilton. Lower price hotels beat the downtown Hilton by miles.
