Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jacksonville Airport

absolutely love this hotel, it’s off in the cut not near the busy river city but yet conveniently 3 mins down the road. great place! love it here!!

The entire building, from the lobby to the rooms, smells like old wet socks. The smell was horrendous. The beds were comfy, probably the only positive. The breakfast had rotting bananas and oranges, cold French toast sticks and burnt sausages. There was barely anything to pick from.

My room was clean but out dated. The AC blew super loud. It was so loud blowing through the vents that I thought it was rain and windy outside.

I waited 35 minutes to check in but no one was at the desk to help me. I ended up leaving and staying somewhere else.

The people next store were very noisy late. The TV did not work. I had to go to the front seat because the phone was not working in the room.

I was able to pay $5.00 a day for parking while we went to New York for a few days. Definitely cheaper than airport parking and they provide shuttle there and back to your vehicle.

Bed very uncomfortable- it was essentially a cot with padding. Staff friendly, breakfast was average

Airport shuttle was a separate company but it was free and they would take your to the cruise port for a fee.

Location is convenient for early or late flights. Condition really needs attention. Paint is chipped in large areas, elevator button was taped to hold it on, big white stain on floor in front of my room 223. I was impressed there was a gym.
