If you are a night shift worker, working on a short-term contract in Jacksonville, this place will be an absolute nightmare to live in!!! I have explained to the front desk staff several times that I sleep in the day time. My shifts are long and hard and falling asleep after being awakened by the banging (yes they bang on the door and shout ”management” or ”front desk” or ”housekeeping”) is quite the challenge. For this reason, I have asked not to have housekeeping. Of course, that request has not been honored at all and I still get the loud banging on the door. Last week, the housekeeper knocked on the door and attempted to open it 3 times in a 15-minute time frame. So far today, the door has been knocked twice. The staff just doesn't seem to care. I've given up on asking for any assistance from the front desk and will resort to writing poor reviews until they lose money over it. I have stay at other ESA properties and the staff is usually quite accommodating and understanding. Not here! I pay to stay here and shouldn't be harrassed and inconvenienced on this level so frequently. If you work night shifts and are on the market for a place to rest between shifts or to live away from home, this is not it at all. Stay away and save yourself the headache! Stay away!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights last weekend. I was assigned room 425. My nightly rate with all taxes was $179.64 per night. Service was the highlight of this hotel. Kesha assisted me during check-in and check-out. I loved her energy, smile, personality, and authentic customer service! Angel was at the front desk one night when I had a question. I had a chance to chat with him for a bit. Super friendly guy too! Room was large, but could have been cleaner. Sticky finger prints on the dresser and tub is old and showing its wear and tear. The door also would get stuck. You had to really pull on it to make sure it closed. Bed was super comfortable and shower water temperature and pressure was great. Mini refrigerator worked great. AC worked great. I did not eat the complimentary breakfast or use the fitness center or outdoor pool. Parking is included and was in a secured surface lot that you needed to use your room key to enter. The hotel has 118 rooms and 5 floors. There is not much in the immediate area.....gas station across the street, Ruth's Chris Steak House and Chart House were a very short walk away. You could walk 15 minutes to a bunch of restaurants on Hendricks Avenue. The hotel is very close to the John T. Alsop Jr. Main Street Bridge which crosses the Saint Johns River and takes you into downtown Jacksonville. There is not much to do in downtown Jacksonville and it feels very unsafe, so be careful. I would stay here again if my travels ever take me back to Jacksonville!

We came to see the concert and had drinks at the bar. We loved the bartender named Zach. He made us the best pregame drinks. He was so fun! We also liked Dantrell who worked for valet. We chose this hotel because it was walking distance to the vystar arena but it was more because the distance was across the river which was misleading. But still a great stay.
