"Amazing hotel located away from the centre but near the Metro. Beautiful decor and furnishings. Rooms were luxurious, and well equipped. The staff at reception were super helpful and courteous. One of the advantages is that the hotel provide a free airport shuttle. Mine was in a Tesla X with white leather seats. Just email your flight details to the hotel prior to arrival. Although away from the centre I preferred the location as it had more local restaurants nearby. Try the Francesinha Cafe which is a 5 minute walk away The nearest Metro is Marques which is a 5 minute walk. Would definitely return."

"It was a pleasant stay in Porto Palácio ! Our bed could be more comfortable, otherwise we enjoy the beautiful sunset on the rooftop ! Also there are 2 swimming pools, one free and the other (that you can see on the hotel pictures) isn’t included. The hotel is next to Sixt (car rental)."

"This was not the first time I've been at this hotel. It's a nice place to spend a few nights. The breakfast food is good in terms of variety and the staff is nice and helpful. The spa is always a pleasant place for you to relax. However, the buttons of the jets don't work properly, specially the ones that are only accessible when you are in the pool, which can be frustrating if you like to use them and won't be able to. This time, the sauna was out of work, as well, but they were fixing it. They didn't really seem worried about fixing the jets' buttons, though... When I was at the hotel last year, they weren't already working properly, but now I couldn't even get them to work. The ones that would work, wouldn't be active for a long time after you pressed on them. In other Spas, they usually work for a few minutes when you turn them on. In this one, they would only be active for about 20/30 seconds at a time. The room I stayed in, had a different display. You would go through a corridor with the bathroom at the front and on the left you had the sleeping area. I liked it because it would conceal the noises coming from the outside a bit better. All rooms have a balcony, but something that feels that is always missing are a couple of chairs and a table. The balcony becomes useless without them! I couldn't open the bathroom door well (not even in 90 degrees in relation to the entrance) because it would bump on the bidet. Also, the shower and glass covering the bathtub seemed to be at the wrong wall because it was inevitable to wet the entire toilet when you showered. The corners were a bit dusty and the bathroom bin hasn't been changed from the previous guest. I think the cleanliness can be improved."

"Very beautiful! The transportation location is also very convenient, and the location is quiet! Basically, it is on the main road for major transportation or walking! All the furnishings are very beautiful ~ Stable hot and cold water, no problem with air conditioning ~ The hotel staff is very very kind! The breakfast is also very delicious! It is made to order and cooked to order!"

"The hotel had great service, including hotel information at the front desk! The breakfast area overlooks the city of Porto and has a great view. This is not limited to this hotel in Portugal, but there are no slippers or toothbrushes in the room, so you need to bring your own. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay in an upgraded room."

"Just far enough from the busy crowded spots to feel peaceful, yet close enough to walk and or catch many different forms of transport. We booked planning to use the Sauna and Spa after a busy days sight seeing. Unfortunately they had time Limits that didnt allow such comfort, but that just made us do more in gorgeous Porto itself. The garden are well kept, a lovely, and not so small, green space to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Ana checked us in, she was wonderfully fun and full of so much helpful Information!! She gave us a fantastic, if not a little too ambitious itinerary for our short visit. And not one piece of advice Was wrong! Thankyou!! The apartments are nice, they have a warm grounding vibe. Everything Was comfortable except our bed, but that is always relative to who's sleeping in it. Well equipped for short stays, extra kitchen Equipment was available on request. But theres too many delicious options practically on your doorstep. We barely Even had coffee in our room. I would gladly return and stay at Apartments Oporto Anselmo again. And recommend"

"There are a bunch of negative reviews. I would disagree with that if you consider the area, the price and the room. Don't except more that you paid. Meanwhile, the cleaning is everyday. AC is also there. The price more than fair for this room."

"The breakfast is simple but you can eat four or five kinds of bread, fruit, yogurt and coffee. There is a mini parking lot. The car is also good. The room is small. Our triple room is almost full of a suitcase. About half an hour in the city, our family has fun for a day of nearly 25 kilometers, no problem haha"
