"Perfect stay before halong bay cruise. Clean, spacious rooms, nice bar & service. Good gym, spa and nice pool (frontal view is blocked a bit by a new construction, but didn't bother us). Excellent breakfast. We had an inland facing room (quiet), away from the music of the beach club."

"Beautiful hotel interior, stunning views, service is great and speak English. Rave parties at the beach affect hotels in this location. No regulations to keep sound down after 11am. Could not fall asleep until 1am, when the sound finally stopped. Would love to stay again, but city should sort this noise factor out."

"The hotel is very good in every detail from the front desk to the room and bathroom. The decoration is very beautiful and clean. The breakfast is simple but enough. The price is cheap, 144. There are quite a lot of guests staying in the hotel, including Europeans and Koreans. The hotel is quite popular. Support support."

"The dining experience aboard the cruise was nothing short of spectacular. Each meal, whether it was a gourmet dinner or a casual buffet, was delicious and beautifully presented. The variety of food offered something for everyone, and each dish was prepared to perfection. The staff on the cruise were equally impressive. "Above anything else, we must mention how incredible Miss Julie was on the cruise. She was so helpful and friendly and was so kind to our daughter, she made all the difference on the cruise. We scored it higher because of the outstanding level of service she gave. All the cruise team, from the tender pilot to the waiting staff, cleaning team and cooks were all making their best effort. It was an inexperienced team on a new cruise, but the smiles and friendliness outweighed everything else. Overall the cruise was good, but the poor organisation and information let it down a bit. The first day everything was good. Alex the cruise manager met us at off the tender, gave an introduction and a schedule for the first day, kayaking, visits to a cave and a really nice dinner on deck. The music had are very good too. For the second day, the entire day was spent on a different boat so that the cruise ship could return to port and drop off those only staying for one night. The day was actually great fun, kayaking, visiting caves and a secluded beach. You miss out on all this if you only stay one night. When we returned to the ship in the afternoon a new large tour group boarded and from that point forward the other passengers were pretty much forgotten about. Alex was nowhere to be seen and nobody shared any information about the schedule from that point forward, which meant we didn’t know about the afternoon tea on deck nor the Vietnamese cooling lessons, although we did manage to catch the end of it. Then in the evening, the tour group started a big party, with lots of drinking and really bad Karaoke at full volume that carried on until nearly midnight, echoing round the whole ship. They were only enjoying themselves, but not great for young kids sleeping, especially since each day starts at 06:30 sharp. Even less great when you arrive at breakfast and check out time has been moved to 9 am instead of 11am. The other thing to note is that the ship itself is not new like many reviews have stated, but an old vessel that’s been refurbished with mixed results, with parts still not finished and its age still showing in places. (They were still welding deck parts whilst we were sailing.) I am sure that as the management team get more experienced and organised, things will run much more smoothly, but given that this is billed as a luxury cruise and matching price tag, it needs to improve to be good value."

"Our cruise was very lovely and the staff especially our tour manager Harry was exceptional. The food on the boat was very high quality especially the set menu for dinner. The views were amazing and the expeditions were lots of fun. I do have these concerns - on trip.com it states drinks and snacks are included on the cruise, this is misleading. This refers to one mocktail 250ml drink, and a bit of potato chips. Do not expect free drinks like water or soda or even just coolaid to be free to drink - you have to pay for everything. There is filtered water that you have to refill yourself at the back of the boat but this was a bit dodgy if you ask me. Breakfast and lunch was also good - not extravagant but hearty. There are also some hidden costs here and there where you have to pay extra for this tour or extra for that, which I whish was just all inclusive because I don't want to be bothered by paying for more things when on a trip."

"The booking does not include transfer which you need to pay separately. The food served on board is delicious and all are served by course except for lunch on day 2. Drinks (exclude water from water cooler) need to be purchased but the price is reasonable. The tour is fun and the guide/manager share a lot. The staff is very friendly too. They also arranged for surprise e.g. upgrade our room to suite and decoration as it is honeymoon trip. Definitely recommended. As for the transfer, the ride is comfortable but, the driver has attitude problem. If you did not give tip on your journey to halong bay, he will switch off free WiFi n charging port on our return trip."
