The hotel is centrally located , good property but maintenance and service is an issue The room facility is very very basic, economy room does not even have water jug and glass Very few service staff are engaged, CP breakfast menu has only 3 items. Before 6:30 no food service even tea is after 6:30 .

Very good

It is actually erstwhile Ashok Hotel of the famed Ashok Hotels, so it still retains the old world charm. Rooms are big, open and airy. It has good open spaces and situated in heart of city, so if one is not looking for something too fancy/luxurious, it is a nice stay for family & business-tip alike.

We had a very bad experience with Hotel Jaipur RSHCL . Full one day (almost 20 hours) A. C. was not working. From morning we have been given commitment that it will be fixed soon. But that "soon" came after night 10 PM, that too after escalating to their manager. Also, for some unknown reason they switch off AC at every morning though we are present at room. As it is centralize AC they control it as per their wish. We keep complaining this to hotel front desk, only after that they switch on. Staffs are also not professional. They have given us room in first floor, just to take our luggage we tried to use lift once and that do not work. We entered into lift and the gate closed and we were stuck. Room was having damp. Overall hotel hygiene was not good, unclean corridors. Heater was also not up to the mark. You will get just mild hot water. If you have baby/kid/older people who need hot water to take bath you will be in trouble. While checking out they have given us Rs.250 discount as one day AC did not work. I clearly said to the manager I am not looking for any peanuts in the name of discount, I just need the service for which we paid for. Overall, we felt they are sort of Govt. employee who are just doing their job carelessly. They don't care what a traveler feels for. In this price you will be getting far better hotel with proper service at Jaipur. I wrote it so that it can help others to plan their journey at Jaipur and they should not face the problem like us. Thanks!

Stayed here for five nights in late October 2023 for two stints. Location and building are very good. One can find all kinds of conveyance nearby. Rooms are also large and well-maintained. It has two large lawns, one in the front around the porch, another at the back. We booked a suite, which has two washrooms, two television sets, two mini fridges, sofa sets etc. Keeping everything in mind, the problems are there too. The hotel is terribly under-staffed. There lies a great problem which creates other troubles. Dinner is vegetable buffet only, though one can order something much earlier. Breakfast is inclusive, therefore one cannot have one's choice.

We really appreciated Ashok who allowed us to discover Jaipur, his hometown and in particular all the sites: the Amber Fort - the Palace of the Winds - City Palace - the Observatory….We also strolled through the typical little streets where we tasted “Samoussas” and drank tea that without him we would not have dared to do… Speaking French perfectly, he was able to answer all our questions. Ashok is a very friendly person and we recommend him to anyone looking for a guide in Jaipur
