This is our second trip to this hotel. It’s all about the beaches for us. Hired a car to travel the hour from the airport and well worth it. Near the old town so we walked into town every day for light exercise . Very happy with location . Atmosphere here is fabulous all staff make you feel very welcome. Big shout out to Aliou at the terrace bar, Our glasses were never empty once and he’s banter splendid . Daniel one of the waiters is the best by far . Is service last year was topped even more this year . He was serving at the poolside restaurant at lunchtime and in the evenings . He knew we loved our wines and matches each one to our 6 course tasting menu . He truly made our experience enjoyable. Harsel the chef in the Japanese restaurant cooked us up a storm and showed of his knife skills well worth booking to enjoy during your day. Water sports daily water aerobics each day taken by Veny who is still doing spring from last year to this making me laugh watching my partner jump about the pool with little hand eye coordination (I love you babe). Food at the main buffet OMG. Best I’ve ever experienced at an all inclusive hotel. From cavier , oysters and lobster most days . Pasta , pizza and so much and I mean so much more. Rooms here I doubt there is a bad one . We upgraded last year. This year just booked a standard double room and was the exact as last year . Housekeeping Cati was in twice a day to make sure all was in order. Please don’t hesitate to book this hotel I promise you will love it . Lindsay and Leigh Scotland. Early may 2026

What a fabulous place! From start to finish we felt completely spoiled in this beautiful hotel. We had a standard double room in a quiet area, plenty of space for everything, clean, housekeeping arrive 2-3 times per day, lovely shower, couldn’t fault it one bit. The food was absolutely the best we have ever had in any all inclusive. Steaks, duck breasts, fish and seafood cooked to order, the most amazing selections at breakfast, traditional Canadian dishes, fabulous salad and vegetable options, iberico meats, every cheese you can think of and even homemade pizzas, chips and nuggets for those who are less adventurous;) The al la carte restaurants were great, the teppanyaki in particular was a real treat…what an experience! Panoramic views from every area poolside, terrace bar was fantastic, poolside bar could be busy at times but there’s a self service area too. The hotel was full but never felt overcrowded, seating was never an issue. But there best thing about the whole experience was the staff. They were friendly, attentive, polite and always happy. On many occasions we would hear laughter among them, it seemed like a very nice environment to work :) Must give a little shout out to Aliou, Merlyn and raquel; everyone was awesome but they were the best! We got engaged out here and will be returning for our honeymoon, we’re already excited! But we’ll book longer next time, a week just wasn’t enough.

Fabulous week's stay at a wonderful hotel. Whilst large, the hotel never felt hectic and there was always plenty of space in the many lounge areas, the restaurant or the pool terrace. Reception, housekeeping and waiting staff were all friendly and efficient, providing excellent service. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Amoung the highlights for my son and I was the quality and variety of food available. Arriving late after a long day travelling , we really appreciated the buffet set aside for us. We also loved and made good use of the cafe. And the beach was stunning and easily accessed. The only thing that could have improved the stay was more info on the style and type of food to expect at the evening set menu at Al Mar. The dishes were not to our tastes and had we known, we may have chosen to stick with the buffet. That said...the service was great. We just felt embarrassed not to be able to eat much until dessert. Overall, we both had a lovely relaxing week and would definitely recommend the hotel.

Fantastic hotel, we came away to celebrate our parents 40th wedding anniversary and there was a free bottle of champagne in the room waiting with a lovely note. It was a lovely gesture. The rooms we stayed in were side sea rooms, they did over look the main road but it was fine, very little noise and had a lovely view of the lighthouse to the left. The food was so good, best all inclusive by far, there was something for everyone every night, always hot, always fresh and they keep it so so clean! No spillages on the side, always so friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff were super friendly and they had just the right amount of conversation with you, sometimes they pressure you to take part in activities but they were really approachable and didn’t nag you to join in if you didn’t want to, really lovely people. The pool was always warm, I don’t know if it’s heated but my 8 month old was able to stay in the pool for quite a long time due to it being warm, which was a bonus as I was worried it was going to be cold for him. The sunbeds were never taken up, there was always plenty around. The location is near a few shops that we walked to with a pram, the beach is gorgeous would 100% recommend this hotel. It’s by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Definitely stay here!!!

Absolutely fantastic, every single part of the hotel is spotless. We had a double sea view room, it was massive with the most incredible view. The food and drinks on offer are wonderful. One particular thing I liked was the peace and quiet around the pool, no music playing it was heaven. It was clear to see that the staff loved their jobs and made a great team which in turn makes it a great atmosphere for guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again

Our third stay and this hotel just keeps getting better. Attentive staff, spotless surroundings, exceptional food and premium drinks, all served with good manners and a smile. So impressed! Room refurbishments are luxurious, daily cleaning of rooms is immaculate and even an evening turn down service with a smile and a chocolate. The evening entertainment has improved too, our absolute favourite was the talented harpist, performing for just a handful of lucky people who found him in the bar overlooking the beach. A very special evening. This hotel has a lovely feeling, it feels like everybody is delighted to be there and together are all celebrating their holidays! We will be back, thank you

The best hotel I have ever stayed in and definitely worth their 5 star rating. The staff were outstanding - special mentions for Nikhola, Vinny, Noah , Marlon, Baer (activity team), Dias (restaurant) and the Barista from coffee shop. The hotel is so well staffed in every department. There was a choice of entertainment every night both indoor and outside - Solo singers, bands, saxophonist, Harpist which finished by 2230 hrs. The food was absolutely amazing - Lobster, Oysters, Fillet Steak, Duck etc Fantastic location for a beach front hotel in a quiet area a short taxi ride away from town. The activities were enjoyable - Yoga on the beach, Pilates, candle making, painting etc No single use plastics in hotel which was noticeable and very well managed, from filtered water stations offering both still and sparkling options to edible biscuit spoons and straws. I have never been to a hotel more than once but am already planning to return to this one.

The hotel was amazing everything was perfect the choice of food and quality was outstanding compared to other hotels we’ve been to all inclusive, the drinks were premium branded good choice of gins , it was very clean and very close to the beach

What a wonderful hotel, the ideal place to relax with a little bit of luxury. The rooms were well equipped, clean and very comfortable the added extras such as the coffee machine and beach bag are a lovely touch. The food here is excellent and as one of us is a vegetarian it was great to see such a wonderful selection. The staff at all times were helpful and attentive, we enjoyed chatting with Shirley. We hope we will be back soon.

Our first time with Iberostar and we weren’t disappointed. The hotel is stunning, immaculately clean and well worth a visit. We stayed all inclusive in a Junior suite on the second floor, with a sea view, refer to photos. The food had a wide choice and there were plenty of options. We’d highly recommend the Almar restaurant (not the bar) for Lunch. Special thanks to Rocio for her excellent service and pleasant manner. The Star Prestige pool area had plenty of sun beds, hammocks and cabanas. The pool is not heated. The self service bar in this area was well stocked, plenty of spirits to choose from and some tasty snacks. The entertainment was good, I recommend the free bingo. Waiter service at the bar tables was efficient. Overall, we had an excellent stay at this hotel and would consider returning.

A late review but wanted to share how amazing this hotel is. The staff are helpful , friendly and always greet you with a smile. A huge thankyou to Amber on reception who helped us with our room booking.

We visited the hotel as a group of 8, to celebrate my parents diamond wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we had the most amazing experience. The staff are incredible, they were so kind to my mum and dad and went out there way to make them comfortable ( they are 84 and 87) Fernando, in the restaurant was incredible as were all his team. The buffet restaurant was the best we have ever experienced ( and we have been all over the world). Everything was fresh, cooked in front of you and the attention to detail and variety was amazing. I can honestly say, it has been the best hotel experience we have had as a family. I can't recommend the hotel and their staff more highly, and for making our stay so enjoyable. Also, the setting is beautiful, the beach is stunning and the place is absolutely spotless.

Great food, beautiful beach. Just a little windy. We enjoyed the variety of sea food, one of the best selection we have experienced at 5 stars all inclusive
