Best Hotels in Jaworzno

I booked this hotel mainly for convenience to get to Auschwitz for a 9.30am tour, but I also wanted to treat myself to the superior double room & the spa the evening before. Firstly, there were 2 single beds rather than a double (see photo) and they said sometimes in Poland a ”double” refers to 2 singles. It's misleading and I find it odd they're not more clear, especially as they must've had similar complaints about this before, so beware! Secondly, I went down to the spa to spend time in the sauna and jacuzzi but the area was drafty because the door to a strange patio area was open. I think this is where the outdoor pool normally is but there was nothing there but a couple of chairs and an umbrella, so this was another let down. Thirdly, and the worst thing of all, was the breakfast. Awful all round, I've only ever had as bad a breakfast once before and that was in a Travelodge. The coffee was bland, the choice of food was limited, a lot of the spread was cheaply presented and nothing like the photos, so beware. Worst of all was the fruit which was rancid, literally. See my photo, it's quite unbelievable. Also, rather disappointingly, I was looking forward to having a pint in the cellar bar but I discovered it was only open certain evenings, I was gutted, nothing seemed to be going right here. The only reason I gave this 2 star rather than 1 was because of the dinner. I had purchased it as part of a package with the room and had it in a restaurant attached to the hotel. After reading the menu for a while the waitress told me I needed another menu for the package deal so of course I was suspicious. I've taken a photo of this menu as you should be aware the choice is limited. I ordered the zur, dumplings & tiramisu. For all I know it was all defrosted but to be fair it tasted really good, so this was a saving grace. Anyway, please beware of my points, its not a great hotel but it is just a 5-10 minute taxi ride to Auschwitz (1) so it is convenient, though there will be closer smaller hotels or B&B's that are a closer walking distance I'm sure. I have been totally transparent with this review and often I wish hotels could do the same, please don't be surprised if your stay is not as good as you expected.

The room was clean but with poor distribution of lights and sockets. Continuous and annoying noise from the general air conditioning.

Questo Hotel si trova in pieno centro storico di Katowice. Struttura accogliente e funzionale con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La camera piccola ma pulita , un po spartana nell'arredamento . TV senza alcun canale Italiano, non c'è bollitore ne frigobar. Il letto comodo ma i cuscini a mio avviso non sono consoni poiché è come non averli .. Bagno con doccia funzionale a disposizione dispenser sapone sia in doccia che sul lavandino ,a disposizione l'asciugacapelli . La camera non viene riordinata giornalmente ,se fosse necessario il riassetto va richiesto alla reception . La colazione viene servita in una sala accanto alla reception, un buffet con qualche pietanza dolce o salata ,mancanza nella scelta e di qualità . Vero che il costo della colazione è irrisorio ( 6 euro ) ma sarebbe meglio pagare un po di più e avere maggior scelta al buffet e prodotti di qualità . Manca l'acqua a disposizione ,esiste solo un succo di arancio al distributore automatico . A disposizione in reception si possono acquistare delle bevande inclusa l'acqua . Personale alla reception gentile e professionale. La persona adetta alle colazioni poco attenta e scocciata (non risponde nemmeno al buongiorno nonostante lo abbia detto tutte le mattine in cui ho fatto colazione). In conclusione è una buona soluzione per chi cerca una struttura nel pieno centro di Katowice con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Nonostante ciò se dovessi ritornare probabilmente a parità di prezzo proverei un'altra struttura. Camera 103 dal 28 novembre al 1 dicembre 2021

Reading the hotel review you can wonder if it is a good choice.No less on the spot, I was crying in plus.The room is medium size, clean with comfortable bed. We have a kettle, coffee and tea, mineral water, air conditioning.In the hotel there is wellnes additionally paid , unfortunately only one sauna and swimming pool worked .Jacuzzi and 3 other saunas disabled.Breakfast varied everyone will find something for Hotel located near the highway A4 and shopping center,Three Ponds, far from the center of Katowic

Excellent location right across the main train station. The hotel is very clean, great, friendly, professional service. Room was equipped with all needed essentials, very comfortable bed!!!! Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices for everyone. Staff recommended very good polish restaurant located just 5 min walk from the hotel. Will stay again.

I stayed at this hotel in December and have been hesitant to submit a poor review because, like so many other people in Poland, I am sure that the good people who work there are helping with the current crisis. But I’ve decided to share anyway. I would not recommend this hotel to international business or tourist visitors. Overall, it just misses the mark for both international travelers and tourists. Its location is walking distance to the historic center but not in it. Its room rates are reasonable but the banquet rates expensive. I was responsible for a group of over 15 guests who were attending an international conference. While the staff were pleasant, we had several instances of inflexibility. We would have spent more on catering had management agreed to work with our contractor on how to apportion room and catering rates. For my own stay, the staff could not produce an invoice showing the rates paid per night. In addition, when I went to check out, I discovered that the front desk had made an error in changing my checkout date, which I had requested. The hotel had already charged me credit card – without permission -- and demanded immediate payment for my final night. The front desk clerk refused to identify a manager for me to speak with. The hotel also charged the credit card of one of my colleagues without authorization.

I stayed at this hotel last month and found it to be very comfortable and had all of the amenities one needs while on a business trip. The rooms were fairly spacious and up to date and there was a restaurant and bar to enjoy on premise. Front desk was helpful and friendly. We dined at the restaurant at top of the hotel and the food was very good and waiter was excellent.

Beautiful location of the hotel, very convenient access from the motorway. Close to the centre of Katowice and legendary Spodek. Very comfortable beds, nice room with interesting view. In the morning, delicious, varied food awaits guests at breakfast. You can use the swimming pool and jacuzzi. I am delighted with my stay at the hotel.
