Waystone Seoubong Hotel

Breakfast was decent. However, the room's cleanliness was a major concern. On the first day, I found a cockroach. I reported it to the front desk, but received no response or apology whatsoever. The shower hadn't been cleaned, as there was still hair in it. The power outlets in the room were also incredibly inconveniently placed, hidden under the vanity. I had to put the kettle on the floor just to boil water. Overall, my experience was pretty average.

Located near Hamdeok Beach, the off-season price was great. The hotel is tucked away in an alley and has a parking tower, but there aren't many flat parking spaces and they're hard to get. There's a free public parking lot not too far away. The front desk staff were very friendly and explained how to use the parking facilities. The breakfast was a highlight – clean, hygienic, and with a diverse selection. Even though there was only one person working in the restaurant during the off-season, she was always smiling, which brightened my mood! The room was large, but the design lacked a bit of privacy (perhaps suitable for couples). The toilet area with a clear glass partition was a bit awkward. There were no hangers provided in the room, and the power outlets were strangely placed and blocked by furniture. The sink was designed too low – I don't know who designed it, but they should be fired. Overall, staff/breakfast get 5 stars, location 4, and room amenities/design 3. It would still be a good choice if visiting in the summer.

The view was really great, and there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It's also a good spot for a run in Hamdeok!

The service was excellent, and all the staff were so kind. I was a bit confused, though, because the lobby seemed to be divided, with two hotels handling check-ins separately. I went without high expectations for breakfast since there weren't many reviews, but the variety and taste were surprisingly good! The breakfast staff were also incredibly friendly, so I enjoyed my meals thoroughly during my 2-night stay. The barley bibimbap was amazing! The menu also changed daily. I had a wonderful stay and am now leaving.

Excellent value for money, clean and tidy environment. You can even see the sea from the rooftop, and the pool upstairs is beautiful too. I'll definitely stay here again next time!
