MoonStay Avenue

We stayed for two nights at the guesthouse in Yuetingli, right facing the beach. It's a standalone building on the top floor. When we first arrived, the building was empty, and since guesthouses have self-check-in, we were a bit startled, thinking it was an abandoned building. But once we got upstairs, we found there was no need to worry at all; we just found our room and entered using the password the manager gave us. We arrived early in the afternoon, before check-in time, and the manager immediately checked us in early and gave us the access code. Super efficient! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an amazing view. Our room had a pool, but it was too cold in winter to use, which was a bit of a waste. It would definitely be great to come in the summer. The whole house had underfloor heating, and there were tableware and a microwave. Yuetingli is relatively far from the city center, and restaurants close early, so these amenities were very useful. The sofa was incredibly comfortable. It's only a five-minute walk to the popular ribbonfish restaurant, pork chop restaurant, and Moumoon cake and coffee shop. There's also a 711 and CU downstairs, which is very convenient. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I'll just post two window views.

The guesthouse room was very nice, spacious, and fully equipped. However, the shower water temperature fluctuated, probably due to the cold weather. We happened to be there during a blizzard, and the noise level was quite high at night, likely because it faces the sea. The room was warm, with underfloor heating and central heating. There were many restaurants nearby, making it quite convenient.

The floor-to-ceiling windows are difficult to open, and sea breezes can seep in through the cracks, so you'll need to keep warm at night. I recommend against using counterfeit Aesop toiletries. The space is large and comfortable, but the surrounding environment needs some tidying up. Overall, it's a good experience and I recommend it.

The sign said "swimming pool," but there was no water—a bad review. Secondly, the owner's attitude was terrible. He came in and immediately started berating us, scolding and ordering us around. Even when we opened the sliding door, he scolded us and ordered us to close it. I don't know who gave her the audacity to treat customers like servants. Is it because we're Chinese and easy to talk to? They didn't even change the bath towels daily, and they didn't clean the room. When we were leaving, they demanded we clean up the trash, or they'd deduct 1000 yuan from our deposit. I don't know what gives him the right to be so arrogant.

Very satisfied. The room with an unbeatable sea view is very large, perfect for a family. It has two bathrooms and a very large living room. It's only about ten meters away from the beach. You can go down to the beach.

The living room is very large, but the room is extremely small. I spent nearly 2,000 yuan to stay in a house that didn't even have toilet paper. It's really funny. Don't stay here if you have big luggage. You have to climb stairs. The service is also poor. There is an old man guarding the door. If you can't provide good service, don't do business. If it were an ordinary hotel, I wouldn't bother to review it.

Almost all the lights were out. It was noisy with drafts from the wind, and it was cold because the heating wasn't working properly.

Before leaving, I was torn between Hamdeok, the south, or Woljeong-ri for seaside accommodation. I ultimately chose Woljeong-ri, located in the eastern part of the city, because I was drawn to this guesthouse with an infinity pool villa. Its black reefs and white sand beaches, along with strong waves, are perfect for surfers. The popular Mou Moon Café and the Islanders' Chamber of Commerce's Black Pork Shop are nearby. There are also restaurants and shops nearby. Hamdeok is about a 20-minute taxi ride away. Woljeong-ri offers a tranquil retreat amidst the bustle, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The guesthouse owner is Chinese, and the rooms are clean and well-equipped. The only downside is the lack of an elevator on the third floor, which made carrying luggage a bit tiring.

The hotel is great. The floor-to-ceiling windows open to the private swimming pool. Downstairs is the beach and the sea. It's really great! There are also many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The children had a great time playing in the water at night! Highly recommended
