The Jade Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Dongmun Market and the Central Underground Shopping Center, making it super convenient for shopping. However, the facilities are pretty standard. The refrigerator made strange noises, and the air conditioning unit was positioned in a way that disturbed my sleep.

The facade and cafe are beautiful, but the hallways look like they've been through a war... like they ran out of money during renovations. The interior is nice too, and the location is great. Good value for money.

I chose this hotel near Dongmun Market because I liked its retro vibe, so I booked it. The owner was kind, and the facilities were pretty, which I really liked. The only drawback was that the building is a bit old, so there was a slight drain smell, but other than that, it was perfectly fine for a one-night stay.

The location is good, but the facilities are a bit old, and the overall condition of the bathroom, etc., is not great. The cleaning, however, is good.

The room's location is excellent, very close to the Qixing shopping area and Dongmen Market, and the famous Isaac Toast is right at the alley's entrance. We stayed for two nights. On the second day, when we went out to buy lunch and came back, we were a bit surprised to see our room door wide open. It turned out we forgot to hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, so the staff had entered to do some basic cleaning. We immediately asked them not to clean anymore after that.

The hygiene was good, but there were some communication issues due to a language barrier. Other than that, nothing special. The male attendant, who was Chinese, had a bad attitude and was loud, which I found incomprehensible and left me with a bad impression.

My stay at Jeju Emerald Hotel was very satisfying overall, and I would highly recommend it. It offers convenient access to shopping hotspots like Yeon-dong shopping street and Lotte Duty Free, making it ideal for both sightseeing and shopping. Spacious and Comfortable Rooms: The guest rooms are quite spacious compared to other hotels in downtown Jeju City. They are clean and bright, with comfortable bedding that ensures a good night's sleep. Some room types even have balconies, offering views of the Jeju city skyline or distant Hallasan Mountain. Great Service: The front desk staff were friendly and enthusiastic. Check-in and check-out procedures were handled efficiently, and they provided detailed answers to all my travel inquiries. The hotel also offers free parking, so self-driving guests don't have to worry about parking issues. Facilities and Dining: The hotel has a restaurant offering a diverse buffet breakfast with both Korean and Western options, and the food was quite good. The common areas were kept clean, and the overall environment felt relaxing and comfortable. Overall, this is a hotel with a convenient location, comfortable rooms, and attentive service. It offers great value for money and is an ideal choice for accommodation in Jeju, whether for business trips or family vacations.
