Reviews of Hotel Shalom Jeju

Aside from the duty-free shop, you need to take a car to get to Baojian Street. In terms of environment and service, I was very satisfied with everything else.

The facilities are well-maintained, and all necessary amenities are thoughtfully provided. Cleanliness: The overall hygiene was acceptable, though the scent (likely from an air freshener or cleaning product) was a bit too overpowering. It's quite close to Xiande Bathhouse, and getting there by taxi is very quick.

There's a gym on the fourth basement floor (B4) and a restaurant on the second floor, though I didn't get to try the latter as I woke up late. Transportation is very convenient, with a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance. There are plenty of dining options nearby, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious, and the sky view from the window was stunning. The TV offered 300 channels. Daily cleaning, complimentary bottled water, a fridge, and bathrobes were all provided.

Overall, I was pretty satisfied. The public transport access is excellent – there's a bus stop right outside, making it super easy to get anywhere. My only minor criticisms would be that it feels a bit dated, and the breakfast wasn't quite as extensive as I'd hoped.

Night view is beautiful. Beds are comfy and there are plenty of space in the rooms also very well sound proofed with Netflix on TV. Just the breakfast rules are not so fitting with holidays 6:30-9:30AM however you can't arrived after 9 am and at 9 the staff told me to leave in 10 min...

The room is spacious and clean, but some of the furnitures are quite old. We love that we can watch YouTube and Netflix on the TV. Location is quite good, right behind a bus station and close to a few convenience stores.

Facilities: The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport, just about 3 kilometers away. Getting around is incredibly easy, with a bus stop right outside. During my stay, buses were always readily available whenever I needed to go out, and using Naver Maps made navigation super efficient, saving a lot of time. Right outside, you'll find two convenience stores (a GS25 and a CU). If you walk a bit to the right from the hotel, you'll reach Jeju City Hall. At the main intersection, there's a huge Daiso, along with Art Box, ABC Mart, Olive Young, and a BBQ Chicken restaurant. This excellent location means you don't need to venture into the crowded city center for shopping or dining. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned daily and was consistently quite clean. Ambiance: It was quiet, and our window offered a lovely sea view, which was particularly beautiful on clear, sunny days. Service: Only two complimentary bottles of water are provided, so I'd recommend buying larger ones from the nearby convenience stores. I stayed for 4 days, and for a standard room priced at just over 200, the value for money was truly exceptional.

Fuss-free check-in and check-out experience. Hotel is located near Jeju International Airport. Room was extremely spacious with a good view of the ocean in the distance, and generally clean and quiet. Note that laundry service is not available at this hotel.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with a bus stop conveniently situated right outside. This is fantastic for catching direct routes to all the scenic spots. The interior space was decent, and everything was clean and tidy. However, there was no Chinese-speaking staff available, despite expectations. Furthermore, the air conditioning was incredibly difficult to operate; I couldn't get it to work, leading to an unbearably hot night.

I was there with my family on Oct 3. I will note rate this as a 4-star hotel. The room, no doubt, is slightly bigger, but the cleanliness is definitely not there. The car is so tight, and if you drive a bigger car, you will find it difficult to get to the basement. I will not recommend this hotel

The place was alright. In the middle of Jeju city and about 20 minutes from the airport. However, the room was kind of small, and the carpet did look a bit stained. Still, we enjoyed our stay and the staff was polite.

Great service, and location. Aircon was hard to work.
