Reviews of Pearl Hotel Jeju

Really amazing ocean view from the room. Showed up 30 minutes early at 330pm and the machine initially wouldn't let me check in yet but talked to the front desk and they gave me the key early. Really wish the shower had separation from the rest of the bathroom.

The room was clean and had a mini-fridge, plus a small balcony perfect for drying clothes. Right across the street, about 10 meters away, there's a BBC fried chicken place (takeout only), and also a really good BBQ restaurant. It's only a 10-15 minute walk to Shilla Duty Free and 'Grandma's Shop.' This hotel offers fantastic value for money (the price didn't even go up during Chinese New Year!).

Every time I visit Korea, I stay here. It's great value for money and the rooms are very clean. What I love most is its location; it's super convenient for dining and duty-free shopping. The value is simply unbeatable!

The location is good. It is near the airport and near noweru market.

The hotel is very old, probably a high-end establishment many years ago. The service is very simplified; they only clean the room once per stay, and luggage storage is entirely self-service.

The didn’t clean the room during the stay . They just put towel and water in front of the door .

The hotel is a decent size and offers parking, with rooms that are also quite spacious. It's clear it was once a very nice place, but the decor is now dated and some facilities are damaged.

The owner was incredibly kind and went out of her way to help us with public transportation, despite the language barrier. There are many restaurants nearby, and we were relieved to find several still open even though we arrived quite late at night. We even stumbled upon a Korean-Chinese BBQ restaurant where the owner spoke Mandarin, which was a fantastic bonus! A convenience store is also conveniently located just around the corner.

Stayed here in winter, and it was nice and warm with the heating on. Plus, it had a bathtub, which was a bonus.

Not clean

Overall I’d enjoyed  the stay. The hotel has own parking lot. So it’s not a problem if you decided to rent a car. The room has the Korean traditional design layout but overall was clean. The only problem is the towel they provided is a mini sized towel.

The lobby of this hotel provides a taste of how glorious this hotel was when it opened nearly 4 decades ago, but despite said to be "renovated" in 2019, the room I was in (on the 3rd floor) seemed to lack a look of renewal. I was shocked at how abandoned the hotel seemed during my 3 day stay there. Breakfast was included with my reservation and there was a list on the entrance to the breakfast room with the names of those eligible for the included breakfast. On my last day, my name was the only one on the list and there was only cold cereal, toast and juice were immediately available at the buffet. I was offered to have something hot prepared, but I was on a tight schedule to get to the airport. The main negative issue was that the water pressure in the room was severely lacking to take a satisfying shower.

Fairly old but big enough, easy to check in and out, the receptionist did his best to speak English. Like it, and the location is good, near airport
