We had never been to Jerome, but the drive up to the city was wonderful. The countryside it beautiful. It is located between Prescott and Sedona--enough said! The only hotel we could get was the Connors. The TA reviews were overly generous in rating the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The noise level of the bar in the hotel is definitely loud. We got a room away from it, but it is still noisy. The room is spartan and very dated. The closet is awkward. The bathroom is tight. The bed was ok, but the bedding is well worn. The climate control is confusing. The whole place needs new carpet and fresh paint. All rooms are on the second floor with no elevator or valet. Parking is on the street and it is very limited. Plan to arrive AFTER the tourists leave--around 5 to get a spot close to the hotel. Plan to leave you car in the parking spot for the next day. It is an easy city to walk--some steep hills, but not that bad. There are better properties in Jerome; however, you need to plan ahead. Our last minute decision made finding a good one tough. On the positive side, Jerome really is a place you want to experience .

Older hotel, our room was very clean, nicley taken cared of. The Connor had the perfect ambiance for Jerome. In addition, we came up in a rare snow storm, the staff called saying to be carefull and to let them know if we could not make it to the hotel. We had amazing customer service. My daughter and I loved it.

So we stayed at The Conners Hotel, it is and old building and we knew that going in. It was alright and clean. We did have one concern when we turned on the heater it about ran us out of the room. I guess they had not run the heater all summer long and it was burning all the dust that was in it. Had to have the door and a window open for about an hour. Most restaurants and stores was over priced but it is a lot of unique stuff and one of a kind artist stuff. It was fun looking and never found anything that I needed or wanted. We went on the train ride and that was fun. If I go again I am eating in Cottonwood. It was fun, never saw any ghost and the Haunted Hamburger has good burgers

We stayed one night at The Connor Hotel. The hotel was emblematic of Jerome itself: charming, quirky and nice people. And we slept really well. The hotel is in a cute uneven old building with funky floors, decorated in shades of mauve, burgundy and seafoam green. We stayed in room 12, which afforded us a beautiful sunset view of the mountain range. It was very quiet – we actually thought we were the only people there, but later found out at least one other room was occupied. We were pleased with the extremely comfortable bed and the great little gas fireplace in the room, which heated the room perfectly. The shower had excellent temperature control, and there were L’Occitane bath products (!). Wifi was great, and there was a fridge and microwave in our room. We sadly did not see any ghosts, and in fact we felt very safe and cozy despite the silence that pervaded the hotel. ;) Staff were super friendly. As an added bonus, there is a wonderful little gift shop attached to the hotel. Our main complaint was that our bedroom shades desperately need an update, as they were saggy and old and let way too much light in, so we’d suggest that if you need total darkness to sleep you might want to bring a sleep mask along. And in general, the décor could use a refresh, but of course one could argue that that is a big part of the hotel’s charm. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at The Connor Hotel and would recommend it for a comfortable and slightly quirky stay.

Loved this hotel - very comfortable room with a really well fitted out bathroom. Great spot for exploring the town on foot and driving out around the amazing scenic landscapes. Lovely staff. Couldn't recommend the adjoining Spirit Room though - had no atmosphere & no clientele on the Wednesday evening we stayed - though I do understand it is better at the weekends with live music.

Was a enjoyable stay, we can recommend the Connor, if you like the old, but clean fashions? It appears to have updated electrical, our room had a window air conditioner, which was adequate. Hotel is located in the heart of the "city," but really quiet. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Much to see in the area, we were there in the middle of June. Only down side was the stairs to the rooms, although they are plenty wide, just a long way up.

This was our second hotel for the weekend and I found it very comfortable and well appointed. No elevator so be judicious on how much luggage you have. Nice staff. A roomy bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. There wasn't much of view from the room but we saw what we wanted to see on our wanderings. A bit more comfortable than the Jerome Grand with working electrical outlets and coffee available in the room. No parking with the stay but there's a lot right across the street which was very convenient. I'd definitely stay there again.

We stayed here one night mid-week. Check-in was easy, staff was friendly. Room including bathroom was clean and comfortable. It was not noisy at all, though we stayed on a Monday night. This is an old building with lots of history, it was a nice change from the usual chain hotels.
