The Post Hostel Jerusalem

Perfect location, breakfast and nice terrace.

A very clean hostel with a nice central area for eating or visiting. The patio offers fantastic views. It is quiet and secure, if not a little hard to find off the street. No worries though - other hostelers pointed us to the right door! The location is very good and restaurants are nearby. You can get a meal or groceries late at night and just around the corner. The beds were comfortable in the private room we had, and the towels were fresh. If you need a ride to the airport, make sure the staff secures it and confirms it for you in the daytime and when it is not a holiday. We couldn't take the train due to the holiday closure, and even though we had made a reservation, the confirmation was not secure, and we almost missed our flight due to a no-show. That being said, the kind lady at the front desk worked feverishly toward an alternate ride for us. We couldn't have asked for more dedication and effort. She took responsibility, and we are grateful to her for helping us make our flight. Definitely a good place to stay - better than some "four star" hotels we stayed in!

First time staying at a Hostel and I was a little nervous but this place was amazing! Very friendly staff! Very nice and clean rooms! We had a 2 floor little room with seating area and then bed upstairs! We really enjoyed the outdoor patio also! The breakfast is simply but good! Would definitely stay here again!

Took Sherut from Airport, dropped in front of Post Hostel. We arrived very early in the morning, booked extra night, so straight into room. We booked a Triple room so quite spacious for a couple. Well kept room and clean Bathroom. Daily Housekeeping. Israeli breakfast, healthy and good options. No meat but fish, eggs, cheeses and vegs. Cereals, Yogurts, tea and coffee, more than enough. Also Shared kitchen to prepare meals can reduce eating out in expensive Israel. Very good Terrace with plants and flowers. Happy hour 5-6, drinks 2for1. Staff very good. Thanks to Alex (GM), Anya, Malek etc... We took a Tour organised by the Hostel to Old Jerusalem. It was very interesting and lots of facts and figures. Very knowledgeable Guide Sivan Yair Jeret. Really enjoyed the tour. Overall one of the best place to stay at an affordable price in Jerusalem.

My husband and I stayed in the dorms, and for what we paid I was very happy with the overall experience - dorms had big lockers for all our stuff, a comfy mattress and hot strong shower. The breakfast was the highlight and all staff were helpful and polite, one even swapping us some USD for Shekels so we could wash our clothes. Great location too, city is walkable and close to tram and bus stops.

The windows are without certain the light was really strong in the morning and there was no privacy... At the lobby someone took the pool table balls and sticks and even though we asked for it no one tried to help us....

Near to old city, nice viuew and terase, adekvate price, clean rooms, flexible staf I use this hostel for sever years for our groupe reatrets becouse good location, price, clean, good breakfast, there is small kitchen with fridge, good manager.

Best location for a family! Great room with loft- urban feeling. Wonderful pool-billiards room for all. Breakfast is extra, but a buffet offering. Map and tour options available, must reserve! ………………
