Apartments Duje

Where do I start? Location: perfect. Apartment: perfect. Owner: the loveliest person you’ll ever meet. We have just spent a week at these lovely apartments. The apartment had a huge balcony overlooking a quaint little harbour & the island of Brac. It was very well appointed with plenty of kitchen equipment including a toasted sandwich maker which came in very handy for making toast for breakfast. Sumpetar is only small with a pizza/fish restaurant 50 metres to the right of the apartment & a little beach bar 50 metres to the left. Both are very welcoming & frequented mainly by locals. There’s a supermarket opposite for essentials & bus stops for Omiš and Split a stones throw away. Lidja the owner is the sweetest lady. On hand if you need any advice but certainly not intrusive. She had beer, water and orange juice in the fridge to welcome us. Gave us cherries from her friend’s tree and when we left, presented us with some local prosciutto to bring home. I think we’ve found the perfect little bolt hole and will most definitely return.

Lovely location right opposite small marina, we had second floor apartment which although small kitchen area the terrace made up for it as terrace had table and chairs to eat food garden 2 seater and 2 chairs and small glass table top for drinks which was fantastic as viewing from terrace was stunning and sunset beautiful . Not much in neat vicinity but both split and omiss accessable by bus ,both lovely places to visit especially omiss s must to to visit .very quaint. Loads of trips from split and split palace is worth visiting .local supermarket across the road from apartment ,expensive but ok for essential , we only catered for breakfast as we were either out in split or omiss or on trips. While on trips we bought anything wrong needed from larger supermarkets market as much cheaper. Appartment was spotless and comfy bed. Lydia the owner was very pleasant and lovely lady ,always willing to help and offer advise. We stayed may 12 to 28th may for husband's birthday , even thou only 2 restaurant open near by I imagine more will be open in peak season .we always stay away from main strips and this apartment was just what we wanted ,quiet and beautiful outlook and lovely walk along promenade with local bars which will be open shortly nearer peak season ,we spent 2 hours walking one day just strolling at own pace ,would definitely stay again for sure .no lift for those who have mobility problems .thank you lydia you a lovely lovely person .X

Lovely apartment on the waterfront of quaint Harbour. We had a 2nd floor accommodation with fabulous views and plenty of space. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. As it was not quite Sumnmer season it was very quiet with nothing local open so we caught buses into Omis and Split. There are so e lovely little beach areas which would be good for swimming. Lidiya surprised me with prosseco, home made pie and card when she found out it was my birthday. We would return to experience when the season is open.

Excellent accommodation. Lydia is a wonderful and caring host. Had a perfect view of marina from our room. Perfect location away from hustle and bustle of Split. 40 minutes bus ride to Split. 15 minutes bus ride to Omis. Omis is a beautiful place great restaurants and qaint streets. Would highly recommend for couples and families

There are some places you go to and you say, I'll be back. Well, this is one of those places. Our Host, Lydia, there are no words. Thank you for everything. You made our holiday. Our youngest love it so much, they wanted to stay with you and not come home. The apartment duje was just amazing. The location is as good as it gets. Long may you continue to host people at your beautiful apartments.

Our first time in Croatia and wow . The apartments were outstanding very clean spacious we stayed on second floor had a massive terrace with lovely views . Had a few lovely restaurants and snack bar nearby and loads of lovely bays to swim in . Bus stop easy number 60 to go to other places . Lydia who owns the apartments is a lovely lady made us feel welcome and very helpful . She even sent up a plate of lovely food to us . Would definitely go back. Lisa and Richard

Our apartment's kitchen and bathroom were clean. Hand held tap shower while bathing. If you need a car there is. Two restaurants within walking distance are delicious. Bus service was good. I always book our holidays and have a great time everyone is very friendly. The lady who runs these apartments is very nice.

How amazing. The location is great. It is just the end of the season, but that's what makes it better. Peace and quiet was what we were after, and that's what we got. 20 mins by bus to Omis and 35 to Split the bus service is second to none always on time, and the drivers are so helpful if you're unsure of which stop you need to get off. Now, the apartment was immaculate with plenty of clean towels. Lidija is an amazing host, so friendly and helpful, giving you local information and had some beer orange juice and water in the fridge when we arrived and delivered delicious strudel that she had made that day and fresh water melon grown by her friend, what a treat. If you're looking for a relaxed chilled break, then look no further. We still have a couple of days left and will enjoy every last sunset from our balcony.

What can I Say about this location and host other than it was amazing. The location is beautiful and clean. Right on a harbour and a stones throw from the beach. The host Lydia was brilliant she checked us in early as we arrived a few hours early. She explained how everything worked where we could get the bus and book things and even shared some home made cake. She also popped some bits in the fridge for us which considering this is a room only booking was just brilliant. We will definitely go back and we will stay there again.
