Grand Skylight International Hotel Ji'an

We booked the presidential suite. While the room was beautiful there were many problems. The electrical breakers kept flipping, ac wouldn’t work and the lights in the master suite wouldn’t turnoff. The maintenance crew worked on it until 11:30 pm, finally we asked if they could just move us to a different room. But because we booked through trip.com they would not help us. They insisted that we book and pay for another room directly with the hotel. We finally asked them to flip the breaker so the lights would go off so we could sleep. I would also like to add that while the ac was on in the room, it wasn’t working. I woke up at 5 am sweating. The room was pretty expensive and it was the worst stay I’ve ever had at a hotel. I would not recommend.

We stayed here twice, on the way to and back from my wife’s parents house over Spring Festival. This is a great hotel in an unknown city. The rooms are very big and comfortable, and we were upgraded both times (presumably this was a quieter period, but we were very grateful!) We really have to praise the help and professionalism of the staff here. On our second visit, we had an unusual request that required a lot of effort, but they were incredibly supportive and really helped us out. Will definitely come back in the future if we’re passing through again. Many thanks!

Newer hotel in Ji'An - easy access from the train station (I think it cost me $1 to take a taxi from the train station to the hotel). I feel this is the best choice in this area. Spacious and comfortable rooms, and many choices for breakfast. This is my second time staying here, and I plan to stay here again.
