Best Three Star Hotels in Jianchuan

I had a fantastic stay at Yingju Inn. The hotel is located in the most central place of Shaxi village. But more importantly, the manager was very helpful and professional. She speaks perfectly English and was able to help me for many things. She indicated me all the sights to visit in the area, and she booked my bus for me. It worth to be noticed, because after almost one month in China, it was the first time that I had a hotel with an English-speaking staff.

The Inn is conveniently located near the old town of Shaxi. A taxi can bring you to the front door. All rooms have views on the amazing garden with a small pond. On the first floor there is a roof terrace and a room with a pool table. The rooms are small but convenient and full of character because of the wooden construction of the building (can be a bit noisy from the neighbours though). The bathroom has a nice hot shower and a glass sliding door: so no wet floor in the rest of the bathroom. The staff is really friendly and offered us a plate of fresh fruit. They don’t speak English but we managed with our basic Chinese and translation app. Checking in and out was a bit confusing because only the owner can do it and he was not around at the time. Every day they serve a nice and diverse breakfast (mix of western and Chinese). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this inn.

Guest house owner is friendly and helpful. Location of the guest house is right at the entrance of ancient Town. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Note that it is quite cold during Winter, and it may be chilly even inside the room, despite of air conditioning. Make sure you have sufficient clothing. Also, it takes few minutes for a running water to turn hot. Keep it in mind.

The location of the inn is very good. You can get there just a few steps after getting off the car. The boss is very nice and will help you with your luggage when picking up and dropping off. The room is very tastefully decorated and exactly the same as the picture. The details are also in place. There is a disposable toilet seat and it is hygienic. It's very good. B&Bs are rarely so clean. I especially like the small alleys leading out of the inn. They are beautiful wherever you take pictures.

I read the reviews on Ctrip and booked Yiduoyun B&B in Shaxi Ancient Town. It is really a very good B&B. There are everything in the room, water, coffee and drinks are all very good brands, and the bathroom body milk and facial cleanser Mask, cleansing oil, disposable face towels, sanitary wipes, etc. There are everything, and the boss is very tasteful. The kitchen is very clean and well-equipped. The whole homestay is very warm, just like being at home. When we went out to play, we also visited several homestays, none of which could compare with his home. We have lived here for four days, and Shaxi is suitable for this kind of slow-paced life. I really like Shaxi.

The facility is new and the owner keeps it clean and tidy. The host is very kind and responsive. Help me get in touch to buy farmhouse ham and make fungus. The B&B is right at the entrance of the village, and the parking is very convenient. It is very suitable for self-driving tours. There is a large field with the window open, and it is not far from the town center. We originally booked 2 nights and really liked it so we stayed 5 more nights. Next time I come to Shaxi, I will choose to live in Biewan, Xishui.

Absolutely fantastic! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I come back to Shaxi. The management of this boutique hotel was highly attentive to all our needs. We could count on them throughout our entire stay. The facility is greatly designed, perfectly located. The room needs a bit of maintenance as there are big area on the ceiling that apparently leaked and the cleaning must be done with better care (behind the furniture and tv). Apart of those tiny details everything else was amazing and I love to stay there again.

This little gem is 5 min walk away from the old city, along the river. You can reach the famous bridge following the river, a nice stroll away from the crowd. The rooms are truly beautiful and the overall atmosphere is peaceful, even with kids around. It’s well decorated and very high quality furniture and bedding. We arrived earlier than the check-in time but they welcomed us with tea, fruits and snacks. They provide also a « shuttle » to go to the old town and pick you up anywhere in the old town maximum 20min after sending a message. The Chinese breakfast was different everyday and delicious. One day we left early and they gave us some part of the breakfast to go. We wanted to ride bicycles and they sent us a contact and location to get them. Same for a driver to go to the mountain. They are all the kindest people. We really recommend this place.

Shaxi set two inns, the former one is at the gate of Beizhai, this cat is so difficult to decide, simply female boss is good, temporarily vacated a room for us to live, so we decided to stay in Shaxi for one more night. The environment is great, the sanitation is very clean, there is a small courtyard and a tea room, and you can watch a movie in the stove at night. I mainly look at her fat cat haha, the freedom of laziness is really envious, cat lovers can rush directly, book as soon as possible or call.

I am very fortunate to have chosen this B&B, Huasheli, run by a famous publisher, consciously. What initially attracted us were the great books that covered the walls of Baidao Library! Using 40% of the best space as public space, sharing more than 10,000 volumes of various good books, spacious and bright environment and family-like atmosphere, this is the biggest gift to us in the flower house. In Shaxi's one-week plan, we chose to stay in the hotel for half of the time. There are not many rooms in the hotel, there are 4 rooms in the front yard, and you can see the view from the window. Gothic is a family duplex suite. There is enough space for us and our children to read, write and enjoy privately. This is probably the case for rooms with a view. Every day starts with sunshine and the scenery outside the window. The sofa by the window is the best choice for reading in a daze in the room, watching the sunlight wandering in the room and feeling the light and shadow. The most charming place in the flower house is the garden designed and managed by the eighty-year-old aunt. There are flowers everywhere. There is also the Baidao Library where we choose to spend more time. The feeling of being embraced by good books is very reassuring. The highest reward of travel is meeting like-minded people. In the flower house, chatting with the gentle-hearted boss couple, the store manager Cheng Zi, and a group of like-minded guests who also love books is the biggest gain of our trip. Orange will prepare a different delicate breakfast every morning, served in delicate dishes. A good day starts with a glass of fresh milk. Oranges are attentive, quick, friendly, caring, intellectual, and sweet. girl next door. Thank you for taking care of our family this week. So, there is no reason not to look forward to returning to the flower house. Baidao Library, in the flower house, there will be a period in the future!
