The hotel's decor is quite nice, and the lake view from the room's balcony is beautiful. However, the staff felt like a hostel in every way. The front desk was very disengaged, and you'd be sitting in the reception area when you entered, with your head barely visible. While the decor was nice, the hotel felt poorly maintained, and the landscaping along the path just after the entrance looked neglected. I couldn't understand why the hotel didn't even have TV. When I asked the front desk, they said it hadn't been available recently. It was hilarious. Guests staying in the room could only use their phones, and the front desk's response was completely unsympathetic, as if it was just a given. We didn't buy tickets for Mount Fanjing, so our entire stay was wasted. This attraction is a rip-off. There are ticket options everywhere, with inflated prices, but you have to go to the mountain the morning of the day to confirm. It feels like the scenic area is deliberately profiting from locals. I don't recommend visiting this scenic area. It's the worst rip-off I've ever seen!
