Manju B&B (East Gate of Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area)

Good location. Reallyclose to the fanjunshan mountain. Not very clean and a bit smelly and the shower didnt have very hot water. but overall for one night the price was good and the location was veryconvenient.

Really well located, just a 5 minute walk to the entrance! Sometimes there isn’t someone at the front desk and you need to call a local number so as someone who’s not from China, that made things a little difficult but otherwise a good stay.

Very friendly receptionist. Rooms are surficially clean but rather run down. A deep-clean and slight renovation wouldn't hurt. Especially a new bathroom bin and soap in the bathroom are strongly recommended. For warm water let the water run for 3-5 mins. A bit noisy and bright at night but not too bad. Sheets, towels etc were clean. Walking distance to East Gate of Fanjingshan.

Free upgrade to the third floor. Clean huge rooms. 5mins walk from the Park entrance.

The reception staff was very welcoming and was waiting for my arrival. Assisted with my luggage from the car, and also provided a pair of gloves. Amenities were decent. Importantly, the hot water was very readily accessible.

Great B&B with strategic & convenient location with different choices of eateries within walking distance. Just a few minutes walk to FanjingShan entrance The owner sent us to KFC nearby with his car and fetched us back with his scooter as car not allowed to enter area where KFC is located. We booked 3 different rooms, all of them are spacious and with great design. This room is perfect for family gathering as we were on family trip. The only area of improvement is the floor that feels dusty on bare foot.

Good Value. Family owned. 300m from East Gate of Fanjing Mountain. They also have a washing machine which was very helpful. Their doors are never closed (24/7 open) but there is not always someone at the desk so checking out was a bit confusing.

Location, location, location! It is only 200m walk away from the queue entrance of Fanjing Mountain. If you are taking the direct bus from Tongren Station / Tongren Bus Station, you shall alight at the Fanjing Mountain Tourist Information Centre and the homestay is just about 250m away. As we are foreigner and unclear of which direction to walk to, we contacted the boss to pick us up. The boss assisted with our luggage and guided us patiently on the directions. He suggested us to pay Zhaisha Dong Village a visit if time permits. The boss even drove us back and forth to as there isn't Didi service up in the mountain. The room of the homestay is spacious, clean and new. The boss and his father are super nice and enthusiastic. Fanjing Mountain is grand but has lots of bugs and mosquitoes. So do remember to bring along your insect repellent.
