The best times to visit Jiangmen are the periods from March to May and from September to November. It often rains within the period from April to September and typhoons sometimes hit the city. The annual Overseas Chinese Carnival & Hometown Tour Festival is held in the middle of October, making that month a good time to visit. Jiangmen hotels are known to fill up around the time of the festival, so it’s a good idea to book in advance.
