Tianfu International Hotel Review | Stayed for just 6 RMB I finished work at 1 AM and had to catch a flight for a business trip at 10 AM the next day. So, I urgently booked a room at the Tianfu International Hotel's business building. Let me break it down: Highlight 1: Booking information was super clear, no wasted trips (see pic 1) The 'Must-Read Before Booking' section on the order page was incredibly detailed. It clearly distinguished which lobby to check in at for different room types: business rooms check in at Rongxiuyuan, 105 Bayue Road, while premium rooms check in at Rongqingyuan. I was able to direct my taxi straight to the Rongxiuyuan lobby late at night, avoiding going to the main hotel and wandering around pointlessly. This is a lifesaver for anyone traveling late at night with a foggy brain. Highlight 2: Ctrip points made it an incredible deal, only paid 6 RMB in the end (see pic 2) I never expected this! The order supported full redemption with Ctrip points, bringing the final payment down to just 6 RMB. The package also included 3 days of free parking and complimentary shuttle service to and from Tianfu Airport. This price is absolutely legendary; even for just the 3 days of free parking, it's worth staying a night. Something to be aware of: Many foreign guests, hygiene and disinfection need to be stepped up (see pic 3) When I checked in, there was a long line at the front desk, and almost everyone in the lobby was a foreigner. I hope the hotel can strictly implement high-frequency disinfection for guest rooms and public areas, and that the bedding can be washed more thoroughly.

The hotel is quite spacious with a pool and a courtyard. It's close to the airport, making it perfect for families with kids or for a layover. They offer complimentary shuttle service to and from Tianfu International Airport and the Tianfu International Airport Metro Station, using a 44-seat bus. The hotel also has several bars and restaurants. We tried the hot pot, which was delicious and reasonably priced.

Service: The service was great, especially the concierge staff who were very welcoming. The airport shuttle was super convenient, highly recommend it! Environment: The park is quiet and beautiful. Breakfast was a highlight, delicious and high quality.

This was my second stay at this hotel, flying from Chengdu to Yading. It's really close to Tianfu Airport, a maximum 10-minute drive, and they have a dedicated shuttle bus, which is super convenient. The hotel is huge, with many buildings, so they must have a big plot of land all to themselves. It's not right by a main road, so the rooms are very quiet. I'll definitely stay here again.

Here's my objective review: **Pros and Highlights:** 1. **Excellent Hygiene:** The rooms and public areas were thoroughly cleaned with no noticeable stains or dust, meeting most travelers' basic expectations for cleanliness. 2. **Comfortable Overall Environment, Unique Courtyard Design:** The hotel features a courtyard layout with lush greenery interspersed with buildings, offering a more relaxed feel compared to typical high-rise hotels. The overall environment is quiet and airy, ideal for guests who appreciate traditional garden styles. 3. **Neat and Business-Oriented Rooms:** The room decor leans towards a simple business style, with a well-arranged desk and power outlets. Items were neatly placed, and the bedding, floors, and bathroom were all very tidy, creating a good first impression. **Main Drawbacks and Complaints:** 1. **Breakfast and Light Meals Are Extremely Unfriendly (Especially for Early Morning Flight Passengers):** * The buffet only starts at 6:00 AM. Many flights from Tianfu International Airport depart around 7:00 AM, meaning passengers need to leave by at least 5:30 AM, making it impossible to catch breakfast. * The 'simple breakfast' provided by the hotel consists only of a box of milk, two pieces of bread, and a braised egg. It's low in nutrition and quantity, and the taste is mediocre, completely inconsistent with the 'Business Tower' positioning. * **Suggestion:** If you have to leave early, it's more reliable to prepare your own snacks in advance. 2. **Poor Service Responsiveness, Essentially 'Invisible':** * Aside from checking in at the front desk, it was difficult to find staff at other times. * Service lacked proactiveness and flexibility, giving the impression of a 'self-service' stay. 3. **Rigid Shuttle Bus Schedule, Every Half Hour:** * The shuttle bus departs strictly every half hour. You're lucky if you catch it; otherwise, you have to take a taxi or wait for the next one. * This inflexible arrangement is highly inconvenient for airport travelers on a tight schedule, and there's no emergency coordination mechanism. 4. **Extremely Poor Air Conditioning, Affecting Basic Rest:** * I personally experienced that the air conditioning 'did nothing all night,' whether for cooling or heating. This is a fatal flaw in summer or winter, severely impacting sleep quality. 5. **Prominent Safety Hazard, Elevator Lacks Key Card Access:** * The elevator doesn't require a key card to access any floor, meaning non-guests can freely reach the guest room areas. * For solo business travelers or female guests, this is a very serious security loophole, making it difficult to guarantee property and personal safety.

The hotel is huge with a peaceful courtyard. I chose the business building, and the airport shuttle service was excellent, departing punctually every half an hour. The hotel's location is great for catching flights. The only downside was the shower head, which had weak water pressure and was a bit old, making for an uncomfortable shower experience.

The environment is comfortable, and the facilities are complete. My stay was very pleasant, and I really felt the ambiance of a huge green ecological park. The various sections of the hotel each have their own unique characteristics, and strolling through them is just like admiring the beauty of a park. The breakfast offers a rich and nutritious blend of Chinese and Western options, catering to all tastes, and the dining environment is also excellent. All in all, my stay was very enjoyable, and it was a great first stop for my Chengdu trip!

The free airport shuttle service is a fantastic perk. The hotel is quite large, and the dining options aren't overly expensive. My only minor complaint is that the soundproofing on the windows isn't great; you can hear planes taking off and landing even in the middle of the night.
