JI Hotel (Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport)

For travelers arriving at Jieyang Airport in the early hours, the timely pick-up service was a warm welcome. The overall environment, bedding, and breakfast at Ji Hotel were all excellent. The young lady at the front desk arranged a room with a lovely view for the morning, featuring distant mountains and farmland outside the window. I fell asleep to the sound of geese honking at night (realized in the morning the window wasn't shut properly), but it added a unique, rustic charm! The breakfast was very plentiful, offering local粿 (guo) dishes. The beef noodles and scallion oil noodles made by the chef were truly delicious, with a texture different from the noodles we have in Yangzhou.

This is definitely the best choice for catching an early flight. It takes almost an hour to get to the airport from Chaozhou Ancient City, but the hotel offers free airport shuttle service that only takes 10 minutes. This allowed us to sleep in a bit longer and avoid missing our flight. Shortly after we checked into our room, the robot delivered a third pair of slippers, noticing there were three of us. Such thoughtful service! 👍 I was initially hesitant about booking a hotel near the airport, but it turned out to be a very wise decision. The room was new and clean. Although the surroundings were a bit desolate, there was a restaurant on the 'must-try' list within walking distance that was both affordable and delicious. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Traveling with our child, my family of three chose this JI Hotel for our layover in Jieyang, and it was such a smart decision! The room was clean and simple, and the bedding was so comfortable that our little one slept soundly until boarding. It's super close to Jieyang Airport, and the hotel offers free airport shuttle service, so getting to our flight was stress-free. The bathroom's wet and dry separation was incredibly practical; showering and brushing teeth with a child felt spacious. Check-out was super fast with no waiting in line, which was a lifesaver when our child was fussy. The room amenities were complete, simple yet not overly fancy. This hotel made our layover comfortable and hassle-free. We'll definitely be back!

This was my first stay at an Atour Hotel, and the facilities were all new and very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the airport terminal, and the service was quite good. However, there aren't many shops or businesses around the hotel, which makes it inconvenient to go out for a stroll in the evening. I'd suggest the hotel could further optimize its service details, for example, the lobby trash cans were hard to find without asking a staff member, and the hotel signage seemed to have a font that was a bit too small, making it easy to miss if you're not paying close attention.

The room was okay, pretty standard. The hotel itself is newly renovated, but the building's foundation is old. What bothered me was the sheer stupidity of other guests and the hotel's carelessness. On the way to the airport, two girls stopped the hotel shuttle and asked if they could be taken to a barbecue restaurant. That in itself is ridiculous, but even funnier is that the driver agreed. The girls got in the car and didn't close the door, claiming it was automatic. The driver then opened the trunk and didn't close it, and my luggage almost fell out. Then, to accommodate these girls, we took a detour to the barbecue place. They took one look at it and decided the hygiene wasn't up to their standards, so they refused to go. They treated the hotel's airport shuttle like their private chauffeur. It felt as if everyone else staying there was somehow inferior. The driver was completely at their beck and call, going wherever they wanted and not going wherever they didn't. The hotel isn't far from the airport, and the trip should have taken just a few minutes, but it was incredibly unpleasant and almost ruined my Shantou trip. I'll be avoiding this place. I hope the hotel remembers what a shuttle service is for and doesn't try to be a 'good Samaritan.' If you can't get a taxi for dinner, then don't eat out.

The facilities were, simply put, incredible. The cleanliness was absolutely spotless, the environment was stunningly beautiful, and the service was exceptionally attentive and genuinely top-notch. All in all, I'll definitely be back for another stay.
