JI Hotel (Jinan Baotu Spring)

Terrible experience, truly awful! I was traveling with elderly family and a child. The front desk attendant assigned us a room right next to the elevator. I called the front desk to request a room change, and she claimed all their king rooms were by the elevator, or else I'd have to pay an extra 99 RMB to switch to a different room type? I was so angry 😤. As a result, my family and I couldn't sleep at all that night; the elevator noise was unbearable, and the room had zero soundproofing. I had to call the front desk again to change room types! The way this All Seasons Hotel in Jinan sells its rooms is really off-putting.

For a hotel under 400 yuan, its location near Quancheng Square is really good. It's right in the city center, within walking distance of Black Tiger Spring, Henglong Plaza, and Kuanhouli, with plenty of dining options nearby. The room itself is reasonably spacious and has everything you need, fair for the price. However, there are some definite downsides: there's only one elevator, so you'll be waiting a while during peak hours. Also, the light switches in the room are a bit counter-intuitive; you have to try each one to figure out what it controls. The service is decent; the front desk staff are nice, and the housekeeping aunties are friendly. If you're not too picky about the hotel and mainly prioritize a convenient location, this place is a good option.

The room was a good size and very clean. I was traveling with my child to see a show she liked, and the hotel's location was super convenient for nearby attractions and shopping malls. It was great, and I'd come back again if I have the chance.

I chose the Atour Hotel Baotu Spring for my trip to Jinan this time, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Just a few minutes' walk to the right from the entrance, and you're at the north gate of Baotu Spring. Furong Street, Quancheng Square, and Daming Lake are all within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient for tourists. As soon as I entered the lobby, I noticed a subtle tea fragrance. The decor is a simple yet warm wooden style, which immediately made me feel relaxed. The front desk staff, both the young men and women, were exceptionally friendly, and check-in was quick and thoughtful. The room was more spacious than I expected, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered a great view of the old city rooftops merging with distant modern buildings, creating a beautiful blend of old and new. What truly impressed me were the service details: After checking out, I thought that would be the end of our interaction. To my surprise, Manager Xiao Yu even sent a follow-up text asking about my stay. Then, after I got home, I realized I had left my charger in the room. I quickly contacted Manager Xiao Yu, hoping they could find it and mail it to me cash-on-delivery. I honestly didn't expect the hotel to bother once I'd checked out, but I received an immediate reply from Manager Xiao Yu, who informed me that the hotel would cover the shipping costs. This was a truly pleasant surprise. I'd like to extend my thanks once again to Atour Hotel Baotu Spring and Manager Xiao Yu for their thoughtful service. Overall, my stay far exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this hotel, whether you're traveling with family or on a business trip. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Jinan!

The hotel's location is superb, right near Quancheng Square and just a short walk to the East Gate of Baotu Spring, saving you the hassle of taxi queues. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is warm and friendly, and it offers great value for money. Staying here for your trip makes everything so easy. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from Henglong Plaza, and only a 10-minute walk from the East Gate of Baotu Spring. There was a bit of traffic congestion getting to the hotel entrance due to road construction at Henglong. The room was clean, though the minibar counter was a bit small, making it inconvenient to place things. I'd suggest making it a desk-like surface for easier bag placement. There was no wardrobe, so I'd recommend adding hanging facilities on the wall next to the head of the bed. The bedding was comfortable, hot water was plentiful with good water pressure, and the soundproofing was good; it was very quiet with the window closed. The staff were very enthusiastic, especially the young lady who checked us in – she provided very detailed information. Breakfast was rich, clean, and hygienic. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends!

The hotel's location is very convenient, close to many attractions. On the first night, there was a noticeable smoky smell in the room, and the floor wasn't super clean. However, overall I was quite satisfied. I loved that the sleep-aid milk was boxed Telunsu. The front desk staff saw there were two of us and gave us two boxes, which was very thoughtful service. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Jinan! >ㅅ<
