The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. I am glad I booked this location. I am not a party animal, so I think it is very quiet here considering how loud it can get at night with the noise from the rave and night market. There is a nice walking path that follows the river across the street from the neighborhood in which the homestay is in. Next time, I will try to bring a bike or standing scooter to travel around easier but most places in the city can be reached within 15 minutes by taxi.

We had a lovely trip thanks to the friendly and helpful staff of the Yuejiang hotel! They contacted us by WeChat after booking the rooms to organize the free airport pick up (very polite and friendly driver) and answer any questions on our side. The hotel is not located in the heart of Gaozhuang tourist area but still close enough to walk to it but you could also use the free shuttle from the hotel. We were happy with the location: the closer you get to the tourist area the more you hear the loud music from the Starlight Nightmarket. Breakfast was mostly Chinese food but good enough choice to start your day well. The pool was clean and big but a bit chilly to hang around. Nice temperature though if you want to swim a few lanes for exercise. Close to the hotel are a couple of ebike rentals which we did on our last day and the kids loved it! I highly recommend this hotel!

The only problem I really had with this hotel is the air conditioner didn't really blow cold air and the breakfast options were very little. From stepping through the doors, the hotel staff we very welcoming and friendly. The hotel interior is beautiful and the sound of children laughing filled the hall, from playing in the pool outside. Once upstairs in the rooms, they were immaculately clean and beautiful. The layout of the room is very well thought out and the beds were very comfortable, to get a good nights rest! The pool is very cold though, however that is typical for hotels in the this province. Would highly recommend this hotel and looking forward to returning here in the near future.
