"Trip. Best! No. 1 of Hot Spring Hotels in Jinhua" is bad marketing. The pool was not open, neither was there a hot spring. The room has a beautiful view in the day but in the evening the bright lights from outside prevented good sleep. The curtains don't close properly.

The first picture shows the welcome fruit, the second shows the attitude when I asked about toiletries and welcome fruit – which was terrible, to say the least. It's common knowledge that if disposable items aren't displayed, they should be offered proactively during check-in. The 'private hot spring' was just a larger-than-normal stone-lined pool, not even properly sealed. As soon as we filled it with water, it was full of floating insects. We were repeatedly assured it had been cleaned and disinfected upon check-in, but the water turned yellow as soon as it started filling. The outdoor cave pool was also extremely dirty. What's more, we booked online for 1399, only to see the exact same room type priced at 1299 upon arrival. Be cautious, everyone.

The butler was very thoughtful and provided excellent service. When it rained, a staff member would meet us with an umbrella at the hotel entrance. They even sent detailed maps and introductions for our routes and itinerary, covering every detail. We didn't get to use the hot spring this time because of the cold, rainy weather, but we'll definitely come back when it's warmer. It seems perfect for a summer escape.

This hotel with hot springs, and the option for private hot spring rooms, is really excellent. The hotel environment is quite good; even during the spring break, it didn't feel crowded, offering a very comfortable, quiet, and peaceful experience. The hotel butler and staff were very welcoming, providing route information and helpful tips in advance, which was extremely useful. Breakfast was simple but tasty and filling. The hotel is advantageously located within the Shuanglong Cave scenic area and can help guests get discounted tickets. During peak times like the Chinese New Year holiday, this significantly reduced our waiting and queueing time. We walked from the hotel to the Shuanglong Cave ticket office around 8:50 AM, waited a short while, and were on the reclining boat within about twenty minutes. During this busy New Year period, that really boosted our overall impression! There are also other scenic spots nearby like Luhunü Lake, perfect for a stroll without the huge crowds, making for a fantastic experience!

Right by the entrance to Shuanglong Cave Scenic Area, which makes it super convenient for sightseeing. We could just stroll over after breakfast and beat the rush. The hotel environment is lovely, and the rooms are spacious. Service was good, and they have an outdoor hot spring. The food was alright, though not a huge variety. Since it's on a mountain, you can't order takeout.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's the closest one to Shuanglong Cave, so you can freely take photos around the 'Chinese textbook' spots even after the scenic area closes. Just a short walk brings you to Shuanglong Stream and the outer cave of Shuanglong Cave – perfect for a textbook-inspired trip. The hot spring bath is incredibly amazing; I loved lying in the hot spring, gazing up at the starry sky. The bonfire BBQ hot pot is a perfect match for winter, and the staff even brought a charcoal basin to warm our feet. The room was spacious, the underfloor heating was very comfortable, and the service was excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was rich and plentiful. The small attractions within the hotel are also great for photos. The lobby's 'cat manager' is aloof but has top-notch 'cat manners' – she's happy to be petted, held, and kissed.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The room design is gorgeous, we had a loft room that felt very authentic and stylish. The whole place is so tranquil and nestled in nature. Highlights for us were the unique Chinese breakfast and the unbeatable location right next to Shuanglong Cave (which is incredible by the way; and do not get intimidated by the queue, the cave entry process is very organized). The staff went above and beyond, even helping ALL GUESTS get tickets so they skipped the queue! They were incredibly attentive to all guests’ needs over WeChat, which we really respected. We also received free tickets to various attractions including to the cave. The in-bathroom onsen was also a fantastic touch. A couple of small things to be aware of: 1. The bathroom sliding doors in our room weren’t very smooth to open and close. 2. The toilet (and I mean the toilet bowl, not the toilet room/bathroom) is really close to the bed (less than a meter), which might be awkward if you're a shy blader. 3. If you're driving, the GPS can take you on some nightmarishly narrow village roads (barely wide enough for one car!). Just a heads-up, though this isn't the hotel's fault. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return. A solid 9/10 from us!
