Highly recommend this place. It has a nice lobby, the rooms are clean, and hotel provides breakfast options. Laundry facilities are available too. It’s also within walking distance to Jiuzhaigou National Park. I found it very helpful to stay near the park, as getting a Didi at closing time can be quite challenging due to surge in bookings and longer wait times. The hotel is located on a street with food and gift shops, which is great for dinner and evening strolls. It is also close to Starbucks, as well as other local coffee and bubble tea shops like Chagee, Luckin Coffee, Mixue & Auntea Jenny. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Jiuzhaigou National Park. Tips: Get train tickets to Huanglong and book a shuttle bus to the scenic area via Trip.com (there may be about a 15 minutes walk to the hotel, or you can take a Didi if you have a lot to carry). Alternatively, if you can’t get train tickets, you can book a direct shuttle from Chengdu, which takes about 6–7 hours and drops you near the hotel. Bookings can be made on trip.com as well.

This hotel chain wasn't as good as I'd imagined. The air conditioning was problematic, constantly having mode conflicts. The breakfast offered good variety, and the noodles were really delicious – highly recommend those!

Great location! It's a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the scenic area entrance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making dining super easy. You'll also find bubble tea shops, cafes, fast food, and supermarkets all around. The room itself was pretty clean too.

We initially booked a suite however upon arrival we were told the room was leaking and they had to downgrade our room with some money refunded. The staff were very helpful to make sure we are accommodated as we have two young kids. The self laundry is very useful especially for our family. It’s near the entrance (10 mins walk) and KFC is just next door. There are some other eateries too.

The JI Hotel is probably the best-located hotel at the entrance to Jiuzhaigou Valley, which is why it's often sold out. Downstairs, it has a Starbucks, a high-speed rail direct shuttle bus stop, KFC, and another Starbucks and Luckin Coffee, all centrally located in the Zangwang Yanwu Plaza. It's also very close to the valley entrance's ticket office, less than a ten-minute walk away. Since it's a new hotel from 2023, the facilities are incredibly new – it's the best JI Hotel I've ever stayed in. The amenities are comprehensive and responsive to every need, and the front desk staff are also very warm and attentive. The breakfast was the best I've had these past few days, even better than the chain breakfast at other JI Hotels (like the one near the China Academy of Art in West Lake). That's why the hotel hosts many guests from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Singapore. No wonder you need to book several days in advance, even during the off-season, just to get a room.
