Didn’t really feel like a five star experience. The lobby was hot and loud. No tea pot in the room. Cigarette ash all over the hotel & the room. Bed was nice. The spa isn’t a spa it’s a series of lukewarm swimming pools full of children. The food was good. Ground staff were friendly and accommodating. The squirrels & chipmunks deserve better!

Have stayed few different place's Intercontinental, this one is by far the most special one and impressive. Heard room rate in peak time soars, luckily for my visit this time is very reasonable. But I think it worth the price.

Amazing hotel hidden between the hills right over the ridge of the Jiuzhaigou colorful lakes valley. Hotel appears to be fully recovered from the earthquake that hit the region in 2017. We were super lucky to finally visit the Jiuzhaigou park and stay at Intercontinental was a cherry on top of the pie. Hotel kindly gave us a complimentary entry to their fantastic hot springs - which was really wonderful to relax after 36 km hiking across the Jiuzhaigou park.
Breakfast, as per intercontinental standard was great. Although due to golden week some most popular stations (waffles) required few minutes queue.
Hotel was full but we still happened to be given a parking spot in the underground garage.
All in all - fantastic stay.

Make basic paths for nature walks. Not very prepared for western eating at restaurants but is good for room service and breakfast. We enjoyed our stay there!

A perfect Jiuzhaigou resort hotel. Last night, the plane was unable to take off on time due to rain and snow. The hotel's airport pick-up service immediately kept in touch with me to see when I could fly. It was already past nine o'clock when I landed and was sent to the hotel. The hotel front desk girl and handsome guy not only helped me upgrade the executive floor view room according to my Platinum Ambassador membership level, but also helped me add a heater in the room and turned on the heater in advance. It was so considerate! In addition, InterContinental Pin Oh Ambassador members also gave a buffet breakfast. The freshly made rice noodles plus the hotel's braised beef were amazing! So delicious! The hotel has a beautiful environment and excellent service. In this winter, I can enjoy the snow-capped mountains and see the blooming cherry trees in the hotel! Ctrip's package at this price is really worth it!

The service training was very good. From the chef patrolling back and forth in the breakfast room, the restaurant lady who actively served, to the aunt who said it was cold and helped us to get hot water in advance in the bathhouse, they were worthy of being at home.
