Holiday Inn Express JIUZHAIGOU by IHG

The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, providing excellent service. It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel's location is also super convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and easy access to transportation.

The location is really close to the scenic spot, especially for a hotel of this quality. Based on previous negative reviews, I specifically booked a 'Superior Sunshine King Room'. My room was on the fourth floor, a bit facing the street, but thankfully it wasn't too noisy. The front desk staff, cleaners, and restaurant staff I interacted with were all very good—polite and patiently answered questions. Breakfast was included, and it was decent. For the price, it offered good value for money; it's small but has everything you need, including a live cooking station for noodles, which was a pleasant surprise. The McDonald's on the first floor doesn't open until after 9 or 10 am, so no breakfast there. The room facilities are just okay, acceptable. The lack of a refrigerator pretty much signals that it's a budget hotel standard.

Great location, with lots of international guests. Standard Holiday Inn quality. The front desk staff were very helpful with all our questions. The only minor issue was that the breakfast area was a bit small, and sometimes it was hard to find a seat.

The room was very clean, and the service attitude was great. The hotel's location is perfect, with many restaurants nearby. It's also very close to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, just a few minutes' walk away. Public transportation right outside the hotel is also very convenient.

The valleys in high mountains are not rich in resources, so the amenities a hotel can offer are more limited compared to those in the plains. [Breakfast] The hotel kindly provided an extra breakfast. Similar to other Holiday Inn Express hotels, it offered both Chinese and Western options, and the variety of ingredients was quite extensive. [Location] It's only a fifteen-minute walk from the gully entrance. [Facilities] The hot water supply was plentiful. The bedding and towels were of similar quality to other hotels of this type and were pleasant to use. There didn't seem to be air conditioning, likely because the climate here doesn't require a cooling mode. We even needed to wear thick jackets during our stay.

Overall, my stay was fantastic! The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in. The room was spotless, the mattress and pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent, so I slept soundly all night. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation and plenty of hot water, and the Wi-Fi speed was fast and reliable. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options too!

The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Zhaowang Plaza, and the only McDonald's in the scenic area is right next door, making dining incredibly easy! It's also just a few minutes' walk to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area entrance. The room was neat and clean, and sleeping at night was very comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the hotel staff (both the ladies and gentlemen) provided excellent service~~

The room was very dirty, tiny, and the hotel itself is old. The sheets and towels were worn out, and the bed was uncomfortable. The pillows went flat as soon as I lay down, but using two of them was too high and hurt my neck!
