Atour Light Hotel, Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area Tourist Center

I had a very satisfying stay. I booked a family room and a twin room, and the hotel upgraded the family room for free, which made it very comfortable for my elderly family members. Even though it's a 'Light' brand, the quality is still excellent, and the value for money is outstanding. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the high-speed train and bus station. You can see it as soon as you get off the bus. The next morning, taxis were available right outside the hotel, and for just 15, they took us directly to the scenic spot entrance, which was very convenient. Alternatively, it's only about a ten-minute walk. Moreover, there are supermarkets and dining options right next to the hotel, all very convenient. Behind the hotel, there's also a pedestrian street along the river with many shops. It's very quiet, perfect for dining and strolling, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road.

Met expectations, and parking was convenient. There are shops nearby selling beef and fruits. I recommend trying the Sichuan mandarins, they're delicious.

I accidentally booked a twin room, but the front desk staff were very friendly and switched it to a king-size bed for free. The room has air conditioning and heating, and there's free parking. It's really close to the Jiuzhaigou main gate, just a leisurely 15-minute walk. If you'd rather take a taxi for such a short distance, maybe traveling isn't for you! There are restaurants, food stalls, and drink shops right next door, which is super convenient. Visiting during the off-peak season is definitely the way to go.

Our room was on the first floor. The door lock was broken but got fixed. It felt a bit run-down, but it seemed better than the newer areas closer to the hotel. I guess we booked too early this time. Maybe we'll come back another time; we'll see. Jiuzhai Valley is beautiful. The lamb was a bit tough to chew.

This hotel is super convenient if you're coming from the train station by bus – it's right next to the Goukou National Parking Lot, so you literally step off the bus and you're there. The room was wonderfully warm; in fact, leaving the heating on all night made it a bit dry. Aside from the elevator not being super clean, everything else was pretty good. They even provided a latex pillow, which made for a great night's sleep! Breakfast was simple, but they had freshly made noodles in the morning, which was perfect and comforting on a cold winter day.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a two-minute walk from where the coach drops you off. The room had heating, which was very warm, and the cleanliness was also great. We happened to be there over New Year's Day, and the hotel even gave us complimentary souvenirs and fruit. The breakfast selection was extensive and tasted delicious. They also offered free congee in the evenings. The hotel staff's service was very attentive. It was a truly satisfying stay.
