We had a lovely time at this homestay. From the minute we were picked up from our hotel, Chotharam was most informative & helpful. He provided excellent communication prior to our visit. It was lovely meeting & spending time with his family. The attention to detail in the accommodation was excellent. The food was all delicious too. We purchased a hand woven rug from him, and he shipped it home for us saving us extra weight on the rest of our trip. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this homestay and meeting the family, as lovely way to leave busy cities behind.

Wonderful host family clean and comfortable huts with full modern bathrooms and Air Conditioning. The breakfasts, lunch, and dinners were all superb. Village safari by host was fun and very interesting. Cooking class also enjoyed greatly.

I had a very pleasant stay. the places are really typical. the hosts are pleasant and welcoming. the meal is local and of very good quality. the village is typical, the people are beautiful and smiling. I highly recommend this passage through the huts! see you soon, I hope

Its a unique place and more of an experience than a comfort stay. Its not designed for locals and will be enjoyed by NRIs or Foreigners as it shows the local village experience of Rajasthan. If a local want to visit, they have to make sure to consider it as an experience as there are limited services in this village experience. The road to the village is very bad and its not in jodhpur, its outside jodhpur 30-40 mins drive. Once reached, you will be treated well by the host as a guest and they will treat you as a family. As an NRI who lost the touch of traditional indian village, my family enjoyed the stay. I would suggest it as 1-2 nights experience and not more.

This homestay was the highlight of my India trip, an authentic experience with a beautiful family, amazing food, and the warmest of welcomes. I especially loved how they invited me to join in during meal prep, oil lamp lighting, and even playing with the baby. Evening, overnight, and breakfast were all delightful. Learning about their hard-working community and seeing their rug-making art first-hand was so very interesting. The prices on the rugs are incredibly reasonable too, and are beautiful in my home. I purchased a room-sized one and 2 runners, which they custom made and mailed to me much sooner than I expected. This is a wonderful experience, and people I will never forget. Highly recommended!

Excellent rural experience in an Indian village with lovely hosts. Chhotaram and Mamta ***** with their family welcomed us into their house. We really enjoyed the village safari seeing the local wildlife, going to see local crafts being made and also eating all the delicious foods. The accommodation was the nicest we stayed in in India with lovely hot showers. We recommend adding the cooking class via Airbnb as this adds to your stay. We stayed for the 2 night package and found this to be a good amount of time to spend with the family and understand their way of life.

This homestay near Jodhpur is run by a heartwarming family, that are very welcoming. We stayed for three days and felt as if we were part of their family. The food cooked by Mamta and Leela is more than delicious and you can also get a cooking class from them and receive the recipes online after. They offer more experiences which allow you to learn more about the environment and societies around Jodhpur, such as their village tour. Chhotaram, Mamta, Leelah, Ashok and all kids, thank you all!

Our family (2 adults 3 teenagers) stayed 3 days /2 nights and we all had a great time. The accommodation is basic but everything essential is provided and we slept very well. The food was delicious. Everything natural and home made. Simple but it was amongst the best vegetarian food we had during our trip, all of us liked it (even the ones not eating spicy). Thanks to the lady of the house ! We did a safari tour that was very well handled, especially as we had a special request, During the safari were lucky to see several nilgai /blue bulls and a beautiful blackbuck. Overall it was very enjoyable, we will definitely come back if we visit India again and warmly recommend it.

This place was amazing. One of my highlights in India so far. We were welcomed at 11pm because we were so delayed when we arrived here. A warm welcome with an amazing meal was waiting. We were only supposed to stay for 1 night and ended up staying for 3! Even though we are only in India for 1 month. We took the village safari and cooking class and both were incredible. I don't want to go into too much detail, because you have to experience this for yourself. The family is warm and welcoming and the experience of getting to know their way of living and them personally is something I'll never forget. We hope to be back one day. I was traveling with my 2 sisters all from the Netherlands.
