Best Hotels in Jubilee Pocket

After staying at Kipara in 2013, 2014 and 2015 a return in 2023 revealed that it is still an awesome place to stay at while spenind time in Airlie Beach. They have recently rearranged and refurbished the cabins and have still been working on the reception area to improve the feeling of being welcome even more. After the hosts Shirley and Bruce finally left it has now been to Laurence from Canada to turn this stay into an unforgettable experience, friendliness and helpfulness have been outstanding and I can only recommend this place should you ever plan a trip to Airlie !

We drove up from Melbourne towing our boat and stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom cabin (sleeps 6) for 5 nights 26/6/23 to 1/7/23 - It was INCREDIBLE. This was our best family holiday so far. 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 2). Our cabin was right next to the park and jumping pillow which was perfect! The play equipment was great and kept the kids entertained for hours as well as all the other kids staying in the park. Boat was easy to park just behind our cabin, others had parked their trailers/caravans there too so plenty of room while you’re there for storage. Our cabin was stunning. It was huge, full kitchen, lounge, dinner table, bathroom with a washer and dryer, tvs in both bedrooms and the lounge! Everything was super comfy and worked smoothly without issues. So good to be able to relax in your own space with everything you need and not take any dirty washing home! Only minor comment is that there was free wifi but it’s temperamental so we weren’t able to connect at all - didn’t bother us but just so you know. The pool was crystal clear salt water, huge, toddler pool also and a water park. Not heated so lovely and refreshing! The kids and us were fully entertained and enjoyed hours splashing in both. These facilities far outweigh other parks in the area and I wouldn’t choose any other park with kids. Hands down the way to go. The grounds are pristine and well kept, lush and so beautiful. So much space to play and walk and enjoy. Pedal carts were fun and games room took spare change haha! Reception staff always kind and helpful ready to go above and beyond. We had booked a room and tried to change it online but had issues through the booking company and extra fees. When we checked in they advised they upgraded us for free! AMAZING!! We rode into town for dinner and sightseeing a few nights/days and it was 3.5km, an easy ride our 5 year old managed no issues. Jubilee tavern is super close and has an awesome playground for kids. Also a great skate park just up from that and in Airlie an epic park too.so convenient to the park. We 300% recommend Discovery Parks Airlie Beach and WILL DEFINITELY be back to stay many more times. We absolutely loved this place. To stay Monica on the desk was so helpful and is honestly a great asset to the holiday park! We stayed in the tropical villa which is so spacious and has aircon in each room. Within 10 minutes of us arriving me cancelled out next accommodation in Airlie Beach and booked another night at the reception desk in the villa. The pool was great and the bird feeding was very cool. This park would be incredible for family’s, but even us, as a group of friends loved it! The only downside was the walk to the centre of Airlie, it’s a good 20 minute walk in the heat, we chose to taxi to save ourselves. Overall it’s a beautiful holiday park , I would recommend to anybody coming to Airlie😊

Facilities: good. The sea view room has a small balcony where you can see the sea, which is very comfortable. Hygiene: good. Environment: The location is very convenient. Most of the attractions can be picked up at the store. It is also convenient to go to the airport and other islands. Service: The service is good. They took the initiative to help me consolidate my orders and upgrade my room.

Very few Chinese live, maybe the Chinese are richer. A small building in the courtyard is very characteristic, and the three rooms share the same bathroom. Since it was September, the bath was a bit cold. The bed in the bunk bed is a bit small, and the length and width are not enough, even if I am already very thin. It’s easy to get your head down. There is a communal kitchen, and it is really fun to cook in a kitchen every day with people all over the world. Located on the main street, next to the big supermarket. It is convenient to take a day trip.

Very good, the back door is the beach pool. I called the boss at two o'clock in the afternoon to tell us that we arrived at six o'clock. He said that he hanged the phone, then sent a text message to me, telling me that the password was taken from the box, and after that. Take the envelope, inside is the precautions and room key, half self-service bar is, this place is relatively small, not far from a pizza shop is particularly delicious, highly recommended

We are currently enjoying our stay at NRMA Airlie Beach. The past few weeks have been unseasonably wet so that would account for muddy, wet campsites as previously mentioned. The grounds are well maintained with an abundance of tropical plants and a leafy outlook. There is a supermarket, bakery and butcher all within an easy walk. Airlie Beach is walkable for the fit and is extremely enjoyable along the winding boardwalk. Staff at the park are friendly and accommodating and offer a variety of social activities for guests on a weekly basis. I think more campers should avail themselves of these as they are a good way to meet others. On offer is Bingo, Music trivia, happy hour, etc. As travellers these days are travelling with some extremely large vans I see assistance with parking as a genuine need, as most of the sites are close together. Generally, our experience here has been a good one. Congratulations! We have already booked again.

We loved our stay at The Boathouse Apartments! The rooms were spacious and super clean with an amazing view over the marina. Staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help. We loved the pool and tennis court and there’s a great coffee shop downstairs The location is one of the best in Airlie - an easy flat walk up to the Main Street, lagoon and cruise terminal. Everything we needed was close by. Will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are suites, there are rooms and rooms, the rooms are spacious, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the rooms have microwaves and hot water bottles, but they are not cooked, and the balcony faces the beach. It is very convenient to have McDonald's, food market and supermarket for about 10 minutes on foot! The front desk service is super good, intimately introduce the places and supermarkets nearby to eat, you can report in the hotel or in the nearby local travel agency. Very satisfied, come back to this hotel absolutely!

I booked at short notice and just managed to get an apartment. Family emergency! I was in Airlie on ” family business' and so appreciated meeting Pam (the owner?) and settling in quickly. I have always love the Mango House. It has such a positive, special ”tropical vibe” I've eyed off for the past 16 yrs on my countless visits there. My apartment was clean, comfortable and over-looked the pool. As a solo woman traveller, I loved it. It was very calming. Felt safe, accessible & quiet accommodation. Perfect for me.! Comfortable! I was confidently left to myself to ”get on with the business” !! It may not suit Sheraton Hotels 5 star travellers...nor those who want a butler!! However, being ex Sydney and appreciating the ”good things in life” it was perfect for me!!! Close enough to Airlie shops, good restaurants, beautiful walks.....really amazing!!! I'll be back as soon as I can!!!
