Perfect venue to do all things artic. Very well organised friendly staff. Great activities, huskies, snow mobiles, reindeers, food was plentiful although basic, understandable supply issues. Rooms again basic but had what needed and nice and warm. Just need satellite tv or internet tv to keep up to date with news etc.

Wow what a truly once in a lifetime experience, far above my expectations. We stayed at the Davvi Artic Hotel in a lodge. Everything so well organised by Transun from start to finish. All staff were brilliant and the organised activities were magical. My only negative is that we were in a lodge and the joining wall could do with being sound proofed as we could hear next doors conversations. We are really well travelled and this goes down as probably our so far. Highly recommend this trip to anyone thinking about it 👍 we were so lucky to see the Northern Lights on 4 out of our 7 nights 💫

Warm, welcoming and well organised! First impressions can seem basic - but you’re (well) inside the Arctic circle, it’s comfy and provides everything you need! The staff are super-helpful and nothing is too much trouble! And if you’re brave enough, try making a snow angel during your sauna - oh yeah!

Having returned from a fabulous holiday at the Davvi Hotel I felt compelled to write a review for the first time ever. The whole experience was FABULOUS. The hotel staff and excursion guides were just wonderful, full of enthusiasm and very attentive to all of their patrons needs. I particularly want to highlight the amazing and helpful service given to my husband and I by Rita in the dining hall. She became aware of my food intolerance problems and with a very friendly smile and manner each meal time made sure there was something there for me to eat. She was just delightful. I have to add that even on her sessions off I was still very nicely helped by the other staff too including the hotel manager. The chef, Darren also requires a mention because at very short notice, (due to some miscommunication prior to arrival,) managed very admirably to provide me with something different every mealtime for my Nightshade intolerance, (not a common or easy allergy to accommodate, especially with the restrictions on ingredients variety and accessibility that he has because of where they are situated). Thank you so much Rita and Darren for enhancing my stay so much because of your kind attentions. All off the excursions were really brilliant and well organised. We had such fun and were so well looked after especially when we became very familiar in close proximity with the Finnish snow on several occasions 😂. The only reason I haven’t given a five star rating is because the log cabin we stayed in was ‘very tired’ in appearance and needs quite a lot of attention/maintenance to bring it up to a more acceptable standard. Maybe it is next on the list for the renovation program I had read about before we travelled. On a plus side though the bed was very comfortable and we did not let this impact on our overall enjoyment. Finally we would both very highly recommend this place for an exciting and different holiday experience. We would definitely like to experience it again.

Superb! We have just returned from a 4 day trip travelling from Liverpool to Davvi arctic lodge with Transun. We were 2 family's and stayed in a 3 bedroom fell house. From start to finish everything was amazing. We travelled with Enterair, no issues, flight on time friendly staff. Yes you have to pay for onboard drinks and snacks but i knew that before we left so no surprise! Arrived and were picked upi by coach and a 45 minute journey to be dropped off at the fell house. Easy peasy! Lodge had a sitting rooom and 3 large ish bedrooms. Only drawback if there was one was that there is only one shower and toilet, With 6 people that sometimes proved "busy"! First evening we were given our itinerary and then it was all systems go! Every trip was amazing. Do the extras, they are so worth it. Ice fishing was my sons dream. The huskeys are fabulous and we did the extra night time one which was totally different and equally as awesome. The dogs are so well cared for and love to please, lots of belly rubs.....The reindeer farm was quaint and the reindeer ride lovely. Again the reindeer are well looked after and live a luxurious life. Great to learn about the sami people. Snow shoe, what a laugh. Give it a go, great fun and you cant hurt ourself falling in soft snow. We hired a couple of toboggans and spent many hours sledging which was great fun, average age of group mid 50's! All the transun staff are lovely and really helpful, a credit to the company. Our forest trek lovely and again staff were fabulous. Food plentiful and there were good choices. Drinks expensive but we had brought duty free so not an issue. We still managed a sizeable bar bill but so what. it was all so worth it. we walked across the bridge to sweden, do it. its not far. This was the most wonderful holiday and we thank all the staff for being so nice and caring that we had a good time. Keep it up Transun.

Just go!! If you can, go and experience something out of this world. From the airport and coming home, everything was superb. We arrived into a very slickly organsied airport and got on our allocated bus to the hotel. The guide I formed us of the evenings plans and off we went. Got straight into our cabin which was number 1 and a 30 second walk to the main building. The cabin was really warm and had a sauna with underfloor heating in the bathroom- great set up. The main building offered a small bar area and the main restaurant. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. Ben the Transun Rep was great and explained the plans for the next three days. Everything was thought of and taken care of. It was so easy and no stress at all. Meal times were allocated according to your activity plan and transport provided for all activities off site. We had some free time and walked across to Sweden which was lovely, plus took a walk up the hill at the back of the hotel which offered peace and fun with sledges! Sledges can be hired from reception for €10 each. Drinks are expensive, but it's frankly all you' spend! Take layers of clothes, ski goggles, snood, scarves and good socks! I wear tights under the base layer which helps with the feet situation. They provide you with good boots and a thermal suit. We can't rate this highly enough. It was fabulous and meeting all of those in your group makes the plane journey home more fun as we all knew each other.

Fantastic trip to a well run hotel. In a lovely remote location, but close to all the activities. Had a room in the actual hotel, but was decorated as a log cabin. Warm room, excellent food (though could be a little more adventurous with potato options.) Guests certainly don't go hungry here. The staff are great from the waiter/waitresses, through to the excursion guides, to the General Manager who was always visible, and helpful. The excursions were fantastic, with several of them walkable from the hotel or lodges. The holiday package is well planned, well executed and well timed. Would 100% recommend this hotel/trip to anyone, absolutely loved our stay here, and would definitely stay here again, as had several of our fellow travellers were returning again.

Just home from a fabulous stay at the Davvi, we stayed in a cabin which was very spacious, it had it's own sauna in the bathroom which was perfect, and just a short walk, less than a minute, to the main hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, good home cooked warming food, the excursions and staff were 5*, we experienced things we never ever thought we would, we have no complaints at all and can't wait to rebook! Thanks for making our trip one of the best!
