There was a person who complained about it, but he quickly found it and brought it to me promptly, so I had a good impression. Although the building is old when you arrive, the entrance is quite spacious and has a good impression. The tatami room is on the Shibayamagata side, and the scenery is pretty good. However, what is quite disappointing is that the walls and ceiling are extremely thin, and the sound of people walking on the upper floor echoes, and you can hear the neighbors' snoring, conversations, and even farts. This lowered the tension quite a bit. If it's not a corner room, the sound will go through. The meal is a standard buffet, but compared to other Oedo Onsen Monogatari menus, the amount of carbohydrates is overwhelmingly higher, and I wondered if this was the secret to the low price. Furthermore, the impression is that there are plenty of fish dishes, but the quality of the fish is a little poor, and it is very greasy. Well, there are a lot of local things prepared, and considering the price, I think I'm grateful. The bath here is also a normal circulation filtration type natural hot spring, and there is no gender change, but the indoor bath is quite large and comfortable, and above all, you can enjoy the openness of the open-air bath with a view of Shibayama Lagoon that spreads between your eyes. Really liked it. Since it is open to the public, you can often see locals with their own toiletries. It's a testament to its popularity. The double room is about 10 square meters, and the room is old-fashioned, and the table and chairs are sadly badly finished, so I can't recommend it, but if you go from a twin room to a Japanese-style room, the view of the room is worth the price, and you can get 2 for 7000 yen. I feel that the cost performance is quite good considering that you can enjoy the open-air bath with a meal, that scenery, and the free shuttle from the station. Recommended for people who don't mind the sound and want to pursue cost performance. Not suitable for those looking for even a little luxury.

Stayed in Rurikoh for 3 nights. I have to say this hotel is quite popular with tour groups and most of them stay here on their way to see Central Japan. The hotel is a bit dated but still clean. All things are large here to accommodate the big crowds - ie Conference rooms, lounges, hotel lobby and restaurants and even the Public Onsen is large. We stayed here to experience the onsens and were not disappointed. There is one indoor + outdoor Public bath, and one private bath. We didn’t try the private one as its chargeable, so we went to the public one only. By staying in Rurikoh, we can even go to the sister hotel, Hatori, to experience their onsen baths there. There are 2 public baths there and many private ones. When we compare the 2 onsen baths, we find that Hatori’s is newer but smaller. Rurikoh’s has its charms and I am sure it used to be the best in the 80’s. Rurikoh has the larger bath and when crowded, you don’t see much of other bathers. As for the room, it is rather dated. We booked the twin room, western style Type A and it was large for Japan Standards. We didn’t take the meals options as there are plenty of Izakayas and restaurants if you drive around. Most restaurants charge less for food and if you dont mind driving around instead of eating in the hotel, you can save quite a fair bit. As for amenities, the hotel is very generous with things like onsen towels, use of Yukatas, water moisturisers, plentiful of toothbrushes and combs. As for the service, staff here are very courteous and they speak English well. One good point with the service is that they will park your car for you and bring it to the front every morning without you even asking. Overall, for the price that we paid and the service and amenities that we got, i would give this a 4star.

Probably due to the fact that it is at the so called countryside, price is good. It is quite a drive to the hotel. I arrived about 9pm and it was such a dark drive right into the hotel. A local was driving, if not it would have been quite scary. Not so sure if the location is convenient for the usual traveller. I was booked this hotel by my business counterpart for convenience and supposedly close proximity to the factory. Room is big and spacious. I had 2 queen sized bed with a table and 2 chairs. Not typical of japanese hotels. Room looks old style but clean. Facial wash, body cloth (for scrubbing) etc was provided. They have a natural indoor and outdoor onsen. And a bath that comes with it where everyone just showers together. There is also a dressing area where lotion and moisturiser for the face are provided in the women's onsen. Hair dryer too. Not sure about the men's. There's a vending machine area with drinks and cup noodles and also the toy egg turning machines. Breakfast is at level 1 restaurant, Japanese breakfast, served buffet style.

Although the location of Fangquan Hot Spring Hotel is not close to the JR car, the hotel provides a shuttle bus to pick up passengers back and forth. The hotel lobby feels old, but the interior decoration of the room feels much better. The hotel is very large in size and there are several restaurants. The open-air Lufu guest room and the foreign room are very popular. Welcome, son-in-law can choose bathrobes. The open-air wind environment is very good, and the spring water temperature can be adjusted by yourself. The room is air-conditioned, but there is no handwashing plate in the bathroom. It is inconvenient to wash your hands in the dressing room next door. The bathroom space is relatively narrow. The water is also slow. There is a handrail for the elderly to use by the bed in the western room. It is very considerate. The western room has a comb and is very comfortable. The room is fully equipped. One berth and two meals are ”going to eat”. The restaurant is first-class decoration. Although the waiter is older, it can be communicated in simple English, and it is very enthusiastic. Considerate. The large bath on the top floor of the main building can see the stars, very beautiful. The open-air windy guest room and villa also have a dedicated windy, the interior decoration is very new, there are massage chairs. In the evening, there are stalls in the hotel lobby for guests to play. The hotel has a lobby for guests to rest, free coffee, tea, etc. There are also hot spring eggs for guests to enjoy. Overall, although the hotel price is not cheap, but the service and environment are really good.

The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Prefectural Office Fukui, that is, near Fukui Castle. Not far away is the Prefectural Office and the police headquarters. It feels very safe. It is not far from JR Fukui Station, about ten minutes' walk. Although the room is small, it has everything it needs. The air conditioner does not face the bed, which is very good. It is also equipped with a ventilation hair dryer, which is considerate. The bathroom is brightly lit, which is nice. There are a wide variety of bath agents at the front desk that you can prepare yourself, as well as body lotion and other items for you to pick up. It is very considerate. If you have the opportunity to come to Fukui again next time, you will definitely stay here.

It was facing Shibayama pass and looked good from the room, the bath and the dining room. The meal was very delicious with seasoning that made use of the taste of the material, and I was able to enjoy the taste of Hokuriku such as crab, nodokuro, Noto beef. Especially, sashimi is much fresher and delicious than what I ate in Kanazawa, and it is a good memory of this trip. Also, the consideration that could serve the warmth in the morning and evening was great. It was an inn with a little worry such as free drink in the refrigerator in the room, free ice cream, shampoo buffet of the preference. I would like to visit again.

The books from the library on the second floor were brought into the room, and the children who liked books were overjoyed. Impression that there are many books for adults. We never went out until check-out, but when we looked at the lobby the next morning, it was raining, so there were boots for lending. I also prepared for children, and I thought it was a thankful service. When I returned, Mr. Nakai went out to see me off to the parking lot and waved until I couldn't see the car. It's not a luxury inn, but you can enjoy the hot springs at a reasonable price. Not suitable for those who expect Mr. Nakai's generous service. It was the best service content for my house.

In response to the request of the family of ”Nearby hot springs”, we used it for the first time in several years. We prepared a large room in Matsukaze domain and relaxed. It was always used only inexpensive juraku building, and it was often said that it was easy to be low in the level of Nakai, but Matsukaze domain was only high in the stone, and Nakai was also firm. It was safe. The food was delicious. It was a dish that was very satisfying with five senses, such as sashimi that was enough to convince the tongue of the local people who were accustomed to fresh fish, fried tempura of fried and fried, A5 rank Wakasa beef, hell baking of cherry blossoms, etc. It was a room with an open-air bath, so I didn't have to go to a crowded public bath and soaked as much as I liked when I liked it. I remembered a lot of luxury in this stay. If you want to enjoy the taste of the ashes, and if you don't want to fail in the ashes, I strongly recommend the room with Matsukaze an open-air bath.

It was good to be close to the station. There was a kind of shampoo at the front desk, which was good.
