The hotel has a nice environment, with a tropical Hawaiian feel. My husband and I stayed here when we came to the Big Island during the Spring Festival in 2018, and we had a very good impression. We booked the same one-bedroom villa at the time, but when we checked in, we found that there were two bedrooms (we were not told that there was a free upgrade, and there was no need to upgrade to a two-bedroom villa with only two people). So this time I traveled to the Big Island with my friend and his wife, and we booked a one-bedroom villa. When we checked in, we found that there was only one bedroom, and the friend and his wife could only stay on the sofa bed in the living room, which was a mistake. If we had known this, we would have chosen to live in Hilo. The house prices are cheap, and we can go to the black sand beach, green beach, Maukaina Observatory, and Volcano Park nearby, and we can save a lot of time. There is a shopping center near the hotel. The location is very good, and it is especially good to watch the sunset. There are many restaurants to choose from. The sunset restsurant has a good environment and a great location to watch the sunset, but the food is average.
