Dapu Xianyuan Homestay (Kaifeng Millennium City Park Wansui Mountain Wuxia City)

The service was excellent and very hospitable. They proactively explained all the facilities and equipment, and the check-in process was very thoughtful. Even the small details were considered – they even put my ID card in a protective sleeve 😊

The room facilities are great, and it's kept very clean and tidy. It's also very close to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. The front desk staff are very welcoming and friendly. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

The hotel's location is great; you can walk across the bridge to Qingshanghe Garden. The room was advertised as 35 sqm, but it felt very small upon check-in. There wasn't even space for a sofa, just a small stool by the bed (I felt misled). I stayed in winter, so it was cold, and the staff seemed unsmiling and cold. Other than the good location, everything else was pretty average, and the value for money was poor.

Transportation is very convenient; walking in and out of Qingyuan is no problem. The environment is very comfortable and quiet, which is a valuable feature. The rooms are quite spacious, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bedding is very comfortable. These all meet daily needs. An added bonus is the super large balcony, perfect for relaxing, having tea, or enjoying the view. There are also two small rooms on the third floor, warm and comfortable with good natural light, suitable for playing chess or studying. The drawbacks are: 1. The lighting is inadequate; there are no nightlights, and the movie lights are ineffective, making sleeping inconvenient. 2. The attic is too cold to sleep in during winter. 3. There is no desk, making it impossible to do homework or work. Fortunately, the staff promptly provided a small heater and blankets, so we didn't end up using the attic bed. We also used the small room in the common area for studying.

The room was huge, with a great layout, double sinks, and a super big TV – I loved it! It's very close to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and Wansui Mountain. The only downside was the underfloor heating was too hot 🥵 – my throat was so dry after one night, we had to sleep with the window open! For food, we went to Da Mei Ming Su! One minor drawback was the lack of soundproofing; being on the first floor, you could hear everyone coming and going, especially in the morning when someone was talking – it woke me right up.
