Kuretake-Inn Kakegawa

It's close to Kakegawa Castle and convenient for sightseeing. The room was clean. Unfortunately, there wasn't much parking on the premises, so we had to park in a nearby affiliated parking lot.

It's small... a lot... you can't even open your suitcase... If one person uses a double room, then it's okay to stay there^^ It's the smallest of all the accommodations I've ever stayed in :)

I am very grateful for the kindness I received from the phone inquiry. It was also very helpful that there was a parking lot right in front of the hotel.

I stayed here this time to attend a concert at Ecopa Stadium. It's close to the station and has many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it a great location. I planned to stay for two nights, but since I was only booking one night at a time, I asked the day before if they could share a room, and they gladly accommodated. (Unfortunately, I had to leave suddenly, so I ended up only staying one night.) The front desk staff were very helpful and explained everything to me. I also appreciated the free breakfast. The amenities were basic, and you could pick up anything you needed from the front desk. I'd definitely stay here again if I have business around Kakegawa Station.

When I had an incident at the coin laundry, the front desk staff quickly responded, which was very helpful. The happy hour service was also unexpected and made me very happy.

We stayed at this hotel for several nights to participate in the Fukuroi Crown Melon Marathon! We stayed as a couple, but the room we stayed in was quite cramped, with a bed in a room originally intended for single guests. Perhaps the guests were unfriendly, because around 3 AM we heard loud laughter and conversation from the next room, which unfortunately woke us up in the middle of the night the day before the full marathon. The next day, we also heard loud voices from the hallway around 11 PM. The amenities were reasonably well-stocked, with complimentary drinks and perks for guests staying multiple nights, including manga and free breakfast. The front desk was also very helpful. The cleanliness was appropriate considering the age of the building. It didn't bother me, but if it does bother you, you might want to avoid staying here. The location was also great, close to the station and with plenty of bars.

I stayed here for a concert at Ecopa Stadium at the neighboring Aino Station. It was close to the station, and I was interested in Kakegawa Castle, so I even found an eel restaurant with a long line. I stayed for two nights, and enjoyed a relaxing visit to Shizuoka Castle and oden. I was mesmerized by the impressive sight of the Shinkansen trains passing by in my room facing the tracks. If you return by 8pm, there are simple dried foods available, and the breakfast was quite good for a business hotel. I'd definitely like to stay at this hotel again.
