The hotel is not far from the JR station. It is very convenient to take the train to Tateyama Kurobe the next day. The room facilities are very new and the shower water pressure is very strong. When checking in, the front desk clerk was Chinese and the communication was very smooth. The hotel also provides two The free light rail ticket allows you to go to the Toyama Mori Art Museum. The only drawback is that bottled water is not provided in the room. The evening consultation waiter (Japanese waiter) did not tell us that there is a water dispenser on the corridor.

The hotel is located very close to the train station. There are many restaurants and malls close by. The staff were very friendly, and some were helpful in English. The information booth in the train station was very good for travel info. in English. The hotel has free tickets for the streetcars that were a good way to get around.

The location is perfect. The room is small like a modern business hotel, and you can relax on the bed. However, there was a bathtub in the room so I could take a hot spring bath whenever I wanted. The large hot spring bath was not small, clean and comfortable, and there was also a sauna that could accommodate 5 or 6 people. Free popsicles after bathing and chlorella lactic acid bacteria drink in the morning. Yonai Soba will be provided free of charge from 9:30pm. Breakfast was mainly Japanese food, with a lot of variety, including arajiru soup and seafood bowl.

I have no idea why this hotel is branded as Doubletree because it is a lot better than the usual Doubletree. It can definitely be a Hilton branded hotel. Everyone is kind and helpful and the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with the food quality excellent. Plenty of choice between western and Japanese food, the Food and Beverage Manager was personally present to make sure everything was okay and he was fantastic to receive his advice on the best food to choose. The location of the hotel is superior, and the service attitude of the hotel service staff is very good, but the English communication is not smooth, the hotel breakfast is very good, the room is relatively large compared with Tokyo. I stayed here for 2 nights from May 13th. I tried to book another hotel but it was fully booked so I decided to stay here. About ¥27,000 for two people in a twin room. The room is a little bigger and has a good view, but that's the only good thing about it. The things I noticed are: 1) The air conditioning is central, so it only blows air, not cools it. It was hot and I woke up in the middle of the night, and when I opened the window, I was bitten by nine mosquitoes and was in agony. I borrowed some insecticide and woke up to kill the mosquitoes, but I can't go back to sleep...(@4:10am) 2), When I unplugged the bathtub and let the water run, the drain was slightly clogged and water ran out. The water did not drain properly and the whole bathroom was flooded with water. 3),Since the bathroom is old, the bathtub is cracked and falling apart. 4), There is a bar, but it is closed. 5), There is no safe in the room. 6), I can't charge my phone because there's no power source near my bed. I charge it on the table next to the TV, and of course I have to go there when the alarm goes off in the morning. There are many ups and downs, but this trip to see a friend was an unpleasant one because of this hotel. For a good price, this is not the case, and I definitely don't want to stay there again.

I stayed one night on the second day when I traveled alone in Toyama for 2 nights and 3 days. It was a normal business hotel price, but I was happy to see the magnificent appearance of the hotel from the taxi. It was a room type, but I was happy to make a twin room. There was no cheapness in the design of the room and each fixture, and the breakfast restaurant was on the top floor and the view and content were good. I was also able to eat Toyama's specialty firefly squid and black salted. There was lychee in the fruit, and I ate three of them while thinking it was the first time in years. I thought it was a hotel where you could get more satisfaction than the price even if you didn't use the travel discount. If there was Excel Hotel Tokyu on my next trip, I thought I would choose it.
