Good Buffet dinner. Big room. Good Onsen

The room is not big, but it is very unique and clean. The hot spring is very comfortable. Everyone in the hotel will greet you with a smile. The breakfast and dinner are delicious. The sweet wine is also delicious. It is about 10 minutes away from the Shinkansen. , the hotel provides free shuttle service every hour. Although there are not many attractions around, it is quick to go to other cities. Highly recommended

There wasn't a lot of variety in the food, but the taste was delicious. The staff's response was very good, and I would like to stay there again if I have the opportunity.

温泉の質良し、朝食バイクング美味しい！ 初めて宿泊しました。コロナ禍後の厳しい温泉旅館の中で、頑張っている。 和室の部屋に布団を敷いて寝る。とても贅沢な時間を過ごせました。また施設内もきれいに維持され日本の旅館にリーズナブルに宿泊したい方はおすすめです。 朝食バイキングが特に特徴あり。地元の美味しい料理。ラーメン、牛丼をはじめ大変美味しいです。 おすすめです。 Great hot springs, delicious breakfast buffet with local dishes, highly recommended!

Good Hotspring hotel . Dinner was good and lots of choices . Room are clean and comfortable . Breakfast is good. Hotspring was nice too . After long and tired drive , stayed overnight at this hotel was a pleasure . A good relaxation and retreat

This hotel has the feel of a traditional hot spring inn. It is within walking distance from Kaminoyama Onsen Station, but there are slopes, so it is safer to use the shuttle bus. The building is large and you have to walk quite a bit. The rooms are spacious and relaxing, but the view from the rooms was only of the hotel's courtyard and a separate building. The dinner buffet was worth the price. There was a steak cooked by the chef, but it was disappointingly good quality. However, I think it was commendable that they introduced a one-person hotpot that uses solid fuel to the buffet.

Even though the building is old, you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The buffet is delicious and the all-you-can-drink option is also great. The hot spring shower temperature is a little unstable, but it's within acceptable limits. The staff are friendly and the landlady's Yamagata dialect is nice. I think I'll go again.

It felt a little old, but we were able to relax. (Although the room was a bit of a problem...) Kaminoyama Castle is within walking distance, and I highly recommend the night illumination. I was relieved to see that the food buffet had taken precautions against infection. However, the breakfast selection was a little small. The staff were very friendly.
