Perfect location and clean and wide rooms. Peaceful if u take room towards the parking side. As on the pool side there is late night music and clubs so its a bit noisy. With a swimming pool, gym, sauna, garden , amazing place to stay. Near to city centre.

Good staffs. Prime location. Spacious, privacy. Room services and laundry are on time and friendly restaurant staffs. Ideal for Indians.!

The hotel is very nice

Clasic hotel with all the right stuff from large bedrooms yo spacious showers. Despite its age, the hotel is still very classy and the staff extremely professional. Everyone is always smiling and ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Definitely enjoyed my stay!

Room was amazing. Big big bed, very clean room. Services room so respectful. Food was lovely and working personnel’s was so friendly. I used few times gym where was so good. Swimming pool also was clean and nice. Generały not too busy and quiet place.

It was such a pleasure to spend a few nights at this really welcoming hotel this week whilst in Kampala. Thanks to the whole team for your delightful welcome and hospitality. We enjoy wonderful, tasty and varied breakfast and fantastic African BBQ in the gardens with live music and clean and well equipped rooms. The staff were a pleasure to meet and could not have been more helpful and relatable. They went over and above their gift of service. Thank you we will be back for sure!

Excellent breakfast, especially the juice, worth dying for. The personnel are very respectful. the conference experience is also excellent with sumptuous meals served timely. I particularly love the amenities in the rooms, the pillows, the TV experience is also worth mentioning, with the hotel trying to cater for a multitude of audiences.

I have stayed at Hotel Africana during each of my many annual working trips to Uganda since 2007. The hotel is well located and has extensive grounds unlike most one-block city hotels. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with a large desk for work. Fortunately, rooms are regularly refurbished and updated. The staff are so warm and always courteous. Very importantly, housekeeping staff keep the room very clean and are very honest. The warm welcome, good location and room comfort are the main reasons I continue to come back to this hotel year after year.

I spent three weeks at the Hotel Africana and Convention Centre and did not get bored as I thought I would since this is a big establishment where an individual can easily get lost or forgotten. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The bathroom is large and well-lit, though my room had a bathtub. The staff were simply the best. The Head Chef, Mr. George recognized me as a long-term guest and made provisions to serve me fried plantains periodically. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and very helpful. The Conference facilities were top notch and the service provided excellent.
