Hotel Rajmahal

Service is excellent .Welcome at doorstep by putting Assamese Hat on Head And traditional Angvastram was beyond words. Pure vegetarian food is very tasty,yummy And delicious.Staffs are very humble,modest And friendly. A must stay in Guwahati.

the hotel promotes itself as a 4star hotel but its actually a 3 star hotel.. the rooms are decent and the north indian food in the banjara restaurant tastes very good.. the food prices are very very expensive.. this hotel is very close to the railway station and is right on AT road.. All the market places ( for me, it was business places / offices that i had to visit ) is very close by.. the only inconvenience is that there is a lot of noise from outside (being very close to the railway station and being on the main road ). During the day, it doesnot matter but during the night, its really very disturbing.. the lobby area is very big.. if you have your train for the second half of the day and you need to check-out at 12noon, you can easily wait in the lobby area...

Close to all important temples . Spacious room . Our windows didn’t look clean though . Good laundry service . Good food .. but expensive for quantity given . Breakfast was decent . Front desk people are friendly and cooperative . Cleanliness in bed linen needs to improve .. once of my quilts had fungus growth … but the housekeeping girl switched it for us . ***agement can do more for keeping whole place more clean , dust free and inviting . U must tell them to switch on the hot water during off peak hours then it’s fine . Water pressure in the bathroom was nice . The staff are good though . Mr Ganesh among staff was the most helpful .

Very comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff.. Over all highly recommendable property.. Budget friendly as well suited for all types.. For all folks looking for a vegetarian options this is the ideal place..

We went on a family trip to Guwahati, Cherrapunji and Shillong. In Guwahati, our stay was at Hotel Rajmahal. Facilities at Hotel Rajmahal were good, and their staff was very courteous. Special mention for Mr. Gautam ***alJi, Asst. Sales ***ager, Hotel Rajmahal, Guwahati. Firstly, Mr. Gautam upgraded our room at no extra cost- What a hospitality! Secondly, I had requested for a full time taxi from Mr. Gautam, for our entire tour. The taxi he arranged was in good condition, and more so, the driver was aware of the complete route, and all the places of tourist interest. We really had a memorable family trip!

A Very Good Hotel with large rooms, in the heart of city, near Railway Station. Includes all modern amenities. It has a massive Lobby area, very helpful & courteous staff who take care of your needs.

Highly comfortable stay in Guwahati with family n friends for 4 nights .Great hospitality starts right with very polite and prompt bell boys .The reception had a great decor special for" Bihu "festival .Reception staff excellent ,very efficient ,polite and always ready to help with a big smile .Rooms are spacious ,neat ,cleaning tidy .Very good housekeeping ,long corridors .The restaurant also very comfortable sitting and delicious food with plenty of variations and choices ..All in all GREAT HOSPITALITY n comfort stay in the heart of the cityat reasonable price .I will happily rate it 10/10 .Highly recommended

During a tour of Assam, Meghalaya & Ar. Pradesh, on Apr 6-7 we stayed in Room 404. The facilities were far above the other hotels we stayed at during the tour.. Special mention : the Lobby ***ager was present at 3:45 AM and obliged by providing Hot running water in the Bathroom, which was sacrosanct to visit the Kamakhya Temple. However, few minor issues : 1, The 6A socket point above the Coffee Table in the Room was not working 2. Hotel could not provide us a Weighing Scale to check our bags as per Flight Baggage Rules 3. Phalak - Paneer served in the Resturant had too much Paneer.

The hotel looks good in photo. The food is good. But it never gave me feelings of 4* hotel. Upkeep of hotel need improvement. Entrance of hotel need to be attractive. Worst thing is it smells damp while entering. Freshnesss is missing due to old building.
