The hotel room was very spacious with excellent natural light, and it was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, making communication a breeze.

Great little boutique hotel located at a walking distance to pretty much everything in the beautiful city of Kanazawa. The room was clean and great value, and the downstairs music bar was a great place to chill out after a day walking around the city. 

The hotel is located inside a shopping alley. As such, it is quiet at night which we like. The staff at the counter is welcoming and friendly. What I like most is the bar right below the hotel. It is a very special bar that the DJ plays nice music with old school disc. The sound is good as the speakers are good. You may consider staying here. Highly recommended.

The room was bigger than expected, I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel. It was also nice of them to give out vouchers for guests who opted for the eco option.

I had arranged for a luggage delivery from my previous accommodation and the staff was kind enough to bring my luggage to my room before my check-in. Overall, they were very warm and welcoming. The bedding was so soft and comfortable and I had a very nice view from the highest floor. Thank you so much for such a pleasant experience. I would stay here again if I were to visit Kanazawa again.

My first time in Kanazawa, and the hotel I stayed at was fantastic! It's perfect for family trips. The bathroom even had a separate washing machine and a Muji clothes rack. The room also had fragrance spray, a refrigerator, and a freezer. There was a supermarket right downstairs, so I bought some delicious ice cream and put it in the fridge – super convenient! There was also a small bar next to the hotel reception; it was great for listening to vinyl records and having a whiskey in the evening. A special tip: our room was on the 9th floor (top floor), with a balcony offering stunning views. We happened to catch the fireworks and sunrise that day – a truly amazing experience!

Place ok with good location and English speaking staff but some lack of service. They dont repalce dirty glasses. Rthe room have minimal room coffee supplies which is suprising as every other hotel we have stayed at in Japan has coffee service. The desk and stool are unusable as they are stuffed next to the bed. Music bar is loud but to each is own. This place seems to cut corners on odd things and could so easily be better with a few easy tweaks.

First, Kanazawa is AMAZING and wonderful and beautiful, and we loved it more than any other city on our two-week visit to Japan. Part of the reason we loved it so much is the wonderful hospitality we enjoyed at the Kaname Inn. Upon check-in, my boyfriend realized he left his phone in the taxi cab. Within minutes, the reservation clerk (Haruka) had called the taxi company and arranged to meet the driver for the phone delivery. Such fantastic service and so accommodating and kind. She also spoke flawless English, which really helped our check-in process! The hotel is small, cool, chic, and modern on a very cute pedestrian shopping street. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. We did not get the breakfast package, but there is a German bakery (well, in name only) just around the corner where we ate every day, which was tasty and very easy. The hotel has a great central location to all of Kanazawa's sites and is also easily linked by bus route to places around the city. The staff is also outstanding and so helpful. Our first night, they got us a table at the most amazing restaurant that was a favorite of the employees. Since no one at the restaurant could speak English, they pre-ordered food for us based on our food and cost preferences. It was so easy and ended up being our favorite meal of our entire trip. We couldn't have done it without their help. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It's well-run, efficient, friendly, clean, and very hip & cool as an added bonus. Beautiful hotel design! Loved it.

After an exhausting trip around the Tokyo to Nagano to Kanazawa, I was soooo ready for a nice but affordable place to rest my head. So glad I found this place on a friend's recommendation. The whole construction is calming with lots of wood accents, a totally groovy music bar (a lot of jazz), and really nice clean and quiet rooms. I got the chance to meet the owner so said building this little boutique hotel was his dream. It shows in all the thoughtful details, especially in the lobby and bar-restaurant area. I'm pretty picky, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. It was like an oasis after so much travel.

Brilliant reception took time to advise the local landmarks and shortcuts nearby. Very soulful bar playing cool jazz to soul music. Hotel in a good location. Quiet and clean but very close to attractions and amenities.

We have been in an apartment inside the hotel. Everything very new. Air conditioning machines in all the rooms to adjust temperature. Quiet street. Very kind and efficient staff. Close to Kenrokuen Garden, the Samurai district and the XXI Century Museum.

We choose this hotel based on past Trip Advisor reviews. We made the right choice. We stayed in Kanazawa for four nights. This hotel made an excellent home base for exploring Kanazawa. And the record bar was a great treat. It's right in the lobby and it's a fun time. Good food, good drinks and the resident DJ is spinning cool music on two turntables. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Especially Rachel. She is extremely helpful, knowledgable and nice. She gave us excellent restaurant options and great site seeing ideas. She was a pleasure to talk to. And, everyone at the front desk is also very nice, helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable, the shower had constant hot water and was a decent size shower. And, it's very quiet. This hotel is actually in a pedestrian walking mall. But, you'd never know it. It's in a good location. The only thing that I wish was better was the breakfast. The morning food is just two small croissants. One croissant had whipped cream in it. The other croissant had a small egg with some lettuce. Not that filling or appetizing. So, the breakfast was disappointing. However, the coffee was good. It didn't ruin the stay there. Just be aware that you might want to go somewhere for breakfast. Having said this, we would definitely stay at the Kaname Inn again. It was really a nice place to come home to after a full day of exploring Kanazawa.
