We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is located near the center of the town within walking distance of the mall. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was good.

It was a wonderful hotel with a fantastic view. Being a little away from the city center, it was quiet and comfortable.

There are less varieties of breakfast, but you can still feel full. The room was nice and big enough. The bedding is a bit old, and there is no quilt, only a sheet. I later found out that the thin blanket from the cabinet was used to cover the sheet when sleeping.

Good walking dinstance location from the lake and nice view overlooking the lake. Rooms are clean but the walls are pretty thin, could hear outside traffic and the neighbours. We only had 2 breakfast at the hotel. Even though there is plenty to choose from, most of it was not as fresh as we’ve seen in other hotels in Sri Lanka. The fruit juice looked old and had floating flies in it so we did not take that. The first day we got tap water when we asked for some water which probably caused some stomach aches for all of us. When we asked for bottled water next day we were charged for it. All in all a fine pace to stay but not to eat.

Delightful comfortable hotel in prime location overlooking the central lake in Kandy, with magnificent views of the surrounding hills. We had the added pleasure of a spectacular sunset. Staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed only for one night while travelling through, but this is a beautiful hotel, in a good location. Overlooks Kandy centre, clean, comfortable and a very good breakfast. Staff are helpful and attentive.

This is a beautiful hotel with well trained and friendly staff. Our entire stay was coordinated by Mahesh, and his expertise made everything smooth and stress free. He was always helpful, attentive, and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. The view from the hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Highly recommended for a pleasant and memorable stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Oak Ray Heritage Hotel in Kandy. The room was huge, spotless, and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety of options, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Great service and excellent value — would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Kandy!
