Прекрасно отдохнули, уединились с природой на чайных плантациях, в гости заходили обезьяны

My favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The view is breathtaking and there is something really special about this place. I will never forget it. I loved the quirky interior design and the service provided was perfection.

Gorgeous amazing room and the staff were absolutely lovely but I wish I could give a 4.5 because I’ll be real the dinner was awful. Wine was disgusting/undrinkable and my duck was overcooked- just not good. Bread/buns weren’t warm and the butter was hard as rock unspreadable. I ordered dessert to try to wash the taste away but they forget my ice cream and the brownie wasn’t even warmed - was like eating a stale brownie frozen hard brownie. This was one of our most expensive dinners in Sri Lanka at $240 US and definitely one of my least favs. But as I said the room was amazing so I wouldn’t avoid the resort just be careful what food you order. Maybe stick local/don’t order the duck.

Hotel on a very nice location. You're starting in rooms/tents with a very nice view. Rooms have everything you want. Service excellent of the staff. The hotel offers different activities. All are super. In netwerk the tea plantations you van do very nice walks. Also the food is good. Always more than enough. Pool area with a spectacular view.

A really beautiful place with well cared for surroundings. Food was absolutely delicious and loved the pool and sitting outside the room watching the prolific wildlife. Lots to do with organised activities but due to the weather we couldn't experience most of these. Would definitely return.

A beautiful location with stunning rooms and lovely staff. Set high in the mountains, the lodge has the most beautiful views across the valley with lovely walks available through the tea plantations. It's about an hour drive from Kandy but well worth it. The rooms (luxury tents) are stunning and watching the sunrise from our terrace across the valley was magical. The staff were lovely and attentive but at times a little slow (drinks and meal service) and the food was pretty 'average' but the stay overall was lovely.

Fabulous experience overall. We travelled from the south and it was a long arduous journey particularly the Kandy to Madulkelle stretch. Bit of advice stop in Kandy overnight and book your transport from the lodge reception. Their drivers know the mountain road really well and it makes for a much better journey. Pushed the boat out and stayed in the Penthouse it was lovely and wish we had stayed two night versus one.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. What we liked: The surroundings, you are in the middle of the Tea fields with mountains all around The nature sounds and wild monkeys Amazing Hikes that start from the lodge and return there. We hired a guide who has worked for the lodge more than 10 years, he was excellent. He will bring drinks, food, leech socks and his extensive knowledge about the nature. The flexibility and helpfulness of the staff (Dinner is at 7pm but we really wanted to eat earlier, this was not a problem at all we just gave our order around lunch and dinner was ready at 5:30) Things to consider Our tent had some wear and tear The food was OK for us too much focused on the Western taste palate It’s a 90min ride from Kandy (for us it’s was all worth it)

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and were unaware of the distance from Kandy city centre. It is based on a tea plantation in the mountains. Incredible views all around although, no taxis are willing to make the drive up to the hotel due to the terrible condition of the roads. Be prepared to eat and spend most of your time at the hotel as it is not easily accessible. The food was below average, dishes advertised as meat dishes but had about 5% meat contained. On arrival, our first room had a cockroach and the second we found a few dead fleas in the bed, but they were accommodating and they did upgrade us. Overall the resort is nice, with a nice pool overlooking the mountains, but in my opinion not worth the money or 5* that they advertise as.

We had a lovely two nights in this lodge, staying in a canvas cabin but weren’t bothered by insects at all. The staff are hard working and well trained . Wi Fi only available in the main lodge where the views from the fabulous terrace are across to Knuckles range and Adam’s Peak.

The road up to the lodge is narrow and difficult but once you get there the views over the Knuckles range is stunning. The tents themselves are reasonably well equipped but a bit small and can be dark. They also don't have WiFi. However the main lodge does have good quality internet. The cooking is very good and adapts to special needs if asked and the service is really good and helpful. We attended the tea tasting which was fascinating. Overall it was well worth visiting

The hotel preemptorily cancelled our reservation for the art suite 6 weeks prior (we had booked months in advance) without giving any reason. When we called reservations to enquire, we were told “this is a management decision, we in reservations department do not know the reason.” No further explanation was proffered. This caused considerable inconvenience as the other room types we liked were no longer available, and other hotels we liked were already booked up as we were already in high season. We wrote to them 6 days ago to request management to provide an explanation for this peremptory cancellation of our reservation. To date, they have also not responded to our email. If management cares so little about disappointing guests during the reservation process, what about after guests have arrived. It seems we might actually have been lucky they cancelled on us. I am also curious what sort of due diligence Michelin guide does before recommending hotels.

Caters to all age groups. Beautiful property with activities such as tea tasting, cooking classes and the highlight are the hikes they offer. Well maintained. Junior staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and eager to serve. Supervisor and Estate manager not very accommodating. Overall an excellent experience to just detox from everything and reconnect with nature

I stayed with my family in January 2025. The road to the lodge is in a terrible state. The tents lack basic necessities such as Wi-Fi and landline connection is also very poor. We had the unfortunate incident of dealing with the incompetent and ill-mannered French manager Phillipe, who was shouting at my kids and lacks basic manners of how he should be talking to customers. Not worth 30 USD, let alone paying almost 300 USD per night! Staff is lovely and did apologise for their manager's rude tone and ill-manners. This place is not family friendly and nor would I advise anyone to stay here.

The hotel is in a fabulous hilltop location with outstanding views across the tea plantation . However , the long narrow road to the hotel is in terrible condition , with badly broken surface and potholes, We were disappointed to find our glamping tents were damp and mouldy , and the food mediocre , having paid a 5 star price in advance . The staff were very helpful.
