My partner and I stayed in Cabin 5 after being evacuated from the Flinders Chase due to the bushfires in the national park. The manager, Georgia, is lovely and very responsive over the phone, and was able to find us a cabin last minute given we had to forfeit other accomodation we had booked. She has been such a help to us and we are so grateful. The cabin was clean, well equipped and in a great location amongst the bush. The electric hot plate and microwave enabled us to cook a decent dinner and there was an aircon unit and fan to keep the place cool. We have stayed in many cabins around Australia so we love this type of accomodation. Highly recommend for anyone who likes bush accomodation!

Supermarket and restaurants are closed to but open up to 6:00 pm. Dinner can be served inside the hotel with laat order around 8:30. It's good for self drive that parking spaces are adequate.

The room was very spacious, and faced to the river. Amazing view. Although it was near the street, the room was quite during my stay. No noises heard at that time. The bed was comforty and large. The bathroom was a bit small than what i thought. But it is okay. All facilities are included. The room was provided with microwave/cutley... Also they provide me with complimentary a bottle of wine, biscuits, potato chips and cookies. So glad that we did not need starving until next day (as we came late and no restaurant was open on KI) The breakfast was good, better food and coffee than other Cafe outside. The lady Yuki was very nice and friendly We definitely will come back again and recommend to other friends of mine.

From the time of our first communication with Kevin we were impressed with his friendly nature, and helpful travel tips and info for planning our stay. On arrival we were so delighted to find the spacious Penthouse apartment as advertised, spotlessly clean and delightfully decorated, with a lovely view over the trees and water. I really enjoyed Yvonne's photography of the island, a great feature. We were on the island for a week, so all the extras and ”little things” you'll find in the apartment were greatly appreciated. The kitchen contains everything you might need if you're eating in. It was delightful to sit and watch the endangered black cockatoos and other birdlife. Local walking tracks were so enjoyable and there was a selection of dining options in the town. We particurly enjoyed a Friday night meal at the Community Shed, with plenty of friendly locals. ”Sunrise on Falie” is a great spot to base yourself, if you can give yourself plenty of time to enjoy a moment to relax and enjoy the apartment too!

Leasha is an amazing chef and our meals were incredibly tasty. Self contained clean accomodation (3 in total) with queen size bed and ensuite. Includes bar fridge, kettle and toaster. If you want to self cater there is a camp kitchen. Quiet area not far from the ferry at Penneshaw or local wineries. Great spot to explore the Dudley Peninsula on Kangaroo Island. Would stay again.
