Ocean Green Homestay| Rooms & Caretaker

Amazing place with great ambiance. Surrounded by Coconut Plantation with a walking distance from the beach makes it a perfect stay. Clean and calm beach with very few people from stays around the place. If you are lucky, you would be able to see some wild foxes early in the morning and they are harmless :). The owner of the place is a great guy taking care of all your basic needs and keeping everything in check.

I will keep an amazing memory of the stay at oceangreen. Sajeev is very nice and comprehensive, he makes everything for the stay to be agreeable. The hotel is surrounded by trees and nature, we can see variety of birds flying around. It is just about a wonderful and peaceful beach. The food cooked by his wife is just amazing … At that moment the price is good for the quality of the experience. I hope the place and its spirit will remain the same. Thank you so much !

Had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is very nice...a short walk to the sea beach and also backwaters. Only few people visit the beach and it's clean. Sajeev is a wonderful host.... readily helped us in organizing local travel and took us to see the Theyyam program. The food at the homestay is excellent and they are open to cooking any dish you wish. It's an ideal place to relax in the lap of nature. If you are bringing your car then do note the approach road to the homestay is narrow and you should plan to reach there during day time. I am looking forward to staying there again.

Heaven on earth. The location is idyllic and so relaxing. The rooms are the cleanest we have seen in India. Sanjeev is very helpful and goes above and beyond to organise trips and make your stay as great as possible. Special mention for the DIVINE food cooked by Sanjeev's wife. We. were blessed with so ***y delicious local delicacies. It's well worth the price and more. Also you are a 4 min walk from the best beach we have visited in India. It's clean and free of crowds! What more could you want?!

The Tuktuk ride to the Homestay was scary… But we arrived and were welcomed by the owner and brought to our room. We also recived a welcome-chai. We ate delicious breakfast, luches and dinners on the terasse with a nice view of the green between the house and the ocean. They had several chairs, hangingchairs and haddocks to chill and relax outside. The moskitos were there but none in the rooms and the indoors. The beach was beautiful. Sadly the swim in the ocean was not as refreshing as wanted. The shower worked well and the room was pretty clean and we could let our clothes be washed. Like the website said we had to pay cash but he had change and it was no problem at all. He offered us several tripps and activities in the area and also organised them and the tuktuks for fair prices.

The stay was very good. A complete package in itself. The staff is very good. You get home cooked food on request, but extra charge for it though! It feels you are staying amidst forest. Absolute peace. The Totayam beach is just 5 mins walking from the place. And it’s like a private beach for you. Very peaceful and clean. TLDR; lovely budget friendly place. Thank you!

Stayed 2 days in ocean green with my family including 1 year old baby. Sajeev is a great host and he is there with you for anything you need. We never felt that we are away from home. I shall give 5 star to rooms and bathrooms. Homely delicious food was another thing to be mentioned. Beach is very nice and clean which around 300 mtrs away.

Beautiful home stay close to Thottada Beach in Kannur . Host Sajeevan is extremely nice person . Very clean nice rooms and bath rooms . We had taken two rooms for one night stay . Nice home cooked meals and breakfast . Clean and private beach nearby . Do not forget to take your swimming 🏊‍♀️ trunks , there is a nice backwater just near the beach and have a nice swim and bath !

Wonderful stay. Owner is very humble and helpful. Staffs are proactive and approachable. Food here is awesome specially the complimentary breakfast. Even Home cooked foods are also available for lunch and Dinner. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Beach is just 5 mins walk from the homestay. Property is very close to nature a must visit place if you are going with your friends and family.
