The location is very convenient, near the highway interchange. There is no parking space in the economy room, but parking is convenient around the hotel, the price is favorable, there is a shower and a large bathtub, and breakfast is included.

It was a great experience. I forgot to ask the front desk if I could turn off the stereo last time (because it continued to play after turning off the lights, which affected my rest). I asked this time, and the front desk politely guided me on how to turn it off, so I had a good sleep. Cool! ! ! !
The sanitary facilities are very nice and the soundproofing is also very good. I didn't hear any noise from other tenants. The price here is quite cheap. It's great.
But I forgot to take photos of the interior, so I’ll post a landscape photo to make everyone happy.

The hotel could probably be considered modern 40 years ago... and the room was somewhat kaput (chain lock was broken) and not well-cleaned (lots of hair on the floor, bad smell from toilet bowl, moldy refrigerator...). But the double room I had was spacious and well furnished (wardrobe, tea table and chairs, desk, etc). So it could be considered an inexpensive Saturday alternative (most hotels in Taiwan double or even triple their rates on Saturday), or a little trip down Taiwan memory lane.

The shower was rusty and I used a shower filter that I took just in case. There are mosquitoes in the room and bathroom, so you need mosquito repellent. There are not many breakfasts and the taste is not that good. Overall, it seems to be a cost-effective accommodation for just sleeping.

The location is excellent, 2mins walk from the station. The staffs are friendly and self check out is quite convenient. The room is clean and quite big. However, the mini fridge is very noisy and disturbed our sleep. Soundproofing can be improved as well, as we can clearly hear people walk and talk in the hall way.

The location is awesome - right opposite the Kaoshiung Main Station. It makes a lot of places convenient for us to travel to. I also feel that for the price paid, the hotel room is great enough (space, comfort of bed, cleanliness, etc). Things to improve can be more receptive responses from the receptionist and better breakfast options.

GGuest UserI'm going to add this to my other reviews on the last review I said there was no where to hang clothes having stayed there for five nights one the fourth night I found a concealed wardrobe behind the mirror so the room does have everything . Wonderful hotel with amenities I haven't seen in a hotel before like free washer and dryer plus the washing powder iron and board . Free tea/coffee munchies and a variety of ice-cream no wonder I left fatter than I arrived. Staff are wonderful super clean and good location. The breakfast spread is lovely but not too much for a western but all in all nothing really to gripe about.. Enjoy your stay I did. .Rich 😎

TThe Happie HypnoOne of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Everything about the hotel was perfectly thought through and designed for the user experience.
Located conveniently abiT off the main busy stretch but walking distance to lots of food and bars, a little longer walk and you would get into the main busy shopping stretch. The hotel was super thoughtful in the service and amenities they provided. There was 24hrs free coffee, tea and ice cream which was self service, a laundry room with free use of their washing machines and dryers - the staff would even help you to dry your stuff when the machine is done washing! There was a 24 hour reception which is manned by really polite and kind staff who are always there to answer your questions even at 1am!
The room was well designed with all the amenities provided, from hair shampoo, conditioners, bath wash, moisturisers and even facial wash!
The rooms are super clean and there was an in-room tap with reverse osmosis water for you to refill your water and boil tea with!
The best part, the room also came with free breakfast which was pretty sumptuous for a simple hotel. The buffet spread of stir fried dishes, rice, porridge, soup (oh my god so good!) cereals, salads, coffee, teas and juices.
The service was also really good. Unobtrusive and always polite. They are really efficient and nice.
I would def stay here again if I come by!

GGuest UserThis hotel is simple and located on the 11th floor of a building that is shared with 5 other ”hotels” on other floors, but I loved the beautifully immaculate and modern rooms. For its price (~$60/nt), the room (I sprang for the Exquisite room) is spacious, well-designed with plenty of natural lighting from a corner unit facing the funky, cool shaped Kaohsiung Port Cruise Terminal and I LOVE the restroom with a washlet!! and stone shower tiles, equipped with a 55” Google TV and preloaded movies / casting capabilities and general TV that made for great entertainment. The location is stellar (only a 3 mins walk from the R8 station ~ take exit 1... don't listen to Google Maps' instruction 😅) and it is hard to go wrong with the included hot breakfast + 24h snax in the lobby with the wonderful service from the entire staff as a cherry on top. It made working from this hotel for the past five days so delightful.

The staff is just ok, I can't say they are too good either.
They have a non-sense pedantic rule that you must collect your dishes and put them in a tray place. I felt like I am in McDonalds or in a trashy human factory. Meanwhile the staff are sitting doing nothing.
As a guest, when I go to a hotel I want to relax, I have enough with tidying up and cleaning things at home, the least thing I want at a hotel is doing the same.
Breakfast itself is ok but milk tea is EXTREMELY sweet and no milk tea option without sugar so if you do not wanna get diabetes type B you won't be able to enjoy breakfast. The rest is mostly very high carbs suggary or fried fatty stuff except a small salad buffet and scrambled eggs. There was no coffee during my stay as coffee machine was broken so cannot rate it.
Checkin should be conveniently done with a kiosk downstairs but when I came it was broken too.
The place feels comfortable and private.
Water has only BOILING HOT water. So it does not have a mixer so you can shower for the first minute, then water is boiling super hot and there is no way to mix it up with cold water or make temperature cold down. It is funny cause travelling around the world I found some countries where it is difficult to get hot water but first time in my life finding a hotel where it is difficult to get cold water.
Location is just ok, it is a bit far from MRT but most staff is nearby.

GGuest UserThere was a candy bag in the corner of the room that was not cleaned up. The space for the 4-person room was not very large and you had to find a parking lot by yourself. Although there was a parking subsidy of 120 yuan, I parked from 3 pm to 9 am the next day and the parking fee was 420 yuan, which was actually quite The air outlet of the expensive air conditioner is designed strangely. The bed under the air outlet is very cold, but the other bed is very hot and I can't feel the wind. The advantage is that it is very close to Qianjin MRT Station. It takes less than 3 minutes to walk to the MRT station. The overall quality of Pier 2 can only be described as average
