the building is too old and its too dusty, we asked for another room coz the room they gave us is too dirty😥. Good thing we moved to a cleaner room but still not satisfied. i think the building needs renovation.

Not clean, bad smell, not clean towels

The hotel was very run down and facilities was limited. The only consolation was near the mrt station

We were able to check in early. But not happy with how old the facility. Hard bed, creepy. Not really convenient, no restaurant nearby.

View from our room, walking distance from train station. Shops and staffs are very accommodating and speak English.

Super old United Kingdom style hotel from the 1970s . If you want to go back to 1970 to see England or Australia , back in time you can stay here. Honest , a hotel from Sydney in 1970 would look like this , everything is original. Would need huge money to upgrade the place. The street outside has many ******* from Vietnam and China late at night in front of the spa building waving to foreigners, it’s a very big party area

Value for money hotel if one is not too choosy. Convenient location near the stations.

No good

The hotel could probably be considered modern 40 years ago... and the room was somewhat kaput (chain lock was broken) and not well-cleaned (lots of hair on the floor, bad smell from toilet bowl, moldy refrigerator...). But the double room I had was spacious and well furnished (wardrobe, tea table and chairs, desk, etc). So it could be considered an inexpensive Saturday alternative (most hotels in Taiwan double or even triple their rates on Saturday), or a little trip down Taiwan memory lane.

The location is excellent, just across the street from the north exit of Kaohsiung Railway Station, and close to Kaohsiung Postal Museum and the post office. Unfortunately, the hotel facilities are old, and I don't understand why the operator doesn't improve everything in the hotel and run a virtuous cycle, otherwise it would be a shame for such a good location.
