Unfortunately, I wouldn’t call this a hotel (other than the price) —it felt more like a motel where you only want to spend as little time as possible. There is no on-site parking; instead, they partner with a nearby parking company where you pay NTD $200, but spots are not guaranteed. Amenities were minimal: no breakfast or snack bar, just a bowl of hard candies, water fountains from the second floor up, and a single coffee machine.
Service was disappointing in the October 24th evening. The staff member seated on the left was arrogant and rude, although the person in the middle was much friendlier.
The biggest issue was the air quality. Upon entering the room, a strong moldy odor was noticeable, with visible mold on the bathroom sealants. After just one night, my asthma flared up for the first time in 25 years, and my children started coughing nonstop.
The room itself was small but tolerable—similar in size to budget hotels in Hong Kong or Tokyo. The only positive was the location, as it’s conveniently close to Liu He Night Market and the MRT station.
